LAL: Jailhouse Makeup Tutorial – Step 1 – The Eyeshadow

First, Love After Lockup alumn Lizzie Kommes says find a color in the magazine that you would like to use for your eyes. She likes to use deeper colors like red or purples, but just choose whatever you prefer. Then, you rub your deodorant on the color for a bit then rub it with your finger.

The color will come off on your finger and then you can apply it to your eyelid. Do as many times as you like to get it as dark as you want it. It is crazy how well this works! However, Lizzie cautions that sometimes there are other colors underneath that can cause the color to change. So, that’s something to be careful of.

Step 2 – The Eyeliner

Next, for the eyeliner, this is where your pencil comes in says Lizzie Kommes from Love After Lockup. First, rub your pencil on the paper then put just a bit of Vaseline on the tip of your pencil. Then, rub the Vaseline into the smudge on the paper. All these items are available in prison.

It will start to get clumpy and black from the lead. Get a good clump at the end of the pencil and apply it like you would eyeliner. Surely, You can make it as thin or thick as you would like.

Step 3- Mascara

Next, For the mascara, Lizzie Kommes of Love After Lockup says this is where the coffee comes into play. So, pour out just a few of the coffee grounds into the lid of your Vaseline conditioner. Next, take a Q-tip and a couple of drops of water and mix it together.

Also, “smoosh” it around adding Vaseline to thicken until it becomes the consistency of mascara. Then, apply to lashes with the Q-tip. Additionally, if you don’t want to use the coffee as mascara you can use the pencil mixture that you used as your eyeliner.

Step 4 – The Lipstick

Next up, is your lip color. For this, you take a little bit of your Kool-Aid and pour it onto your sheet of paper. Then, Add a little Vaseline and mix with your finger to blend it together. This gives you the effect of a flavored lip gloss. Super cool and really tasty!
