He will soon be opening up the Little People, Big World family farmhouse as a rental to interested parties looking for a quiet family getaway.

LPBW: How Will Matt’s Decision Affect the Family?

When the Little People, Big World star announced his decision last spring, it began causing major between Matt and his sons. Jeremy and Zach each approached their dad with separate offers to purchase the land. But both deals fell through, according to their father.

The failed deals left a lot of animosity between the sons and their dad. Zach and Jeremy each wanted to buy the farm in hopes of keeping their family legacy intact.

So far, none of the kids are commenting on their Little People Big World dad’s recent announcement. However, TLC fans feel it is just a matter of time before one or more family members speak out.

Matt says in his social media post that the farmhouse rental won’t be available to rent until late this year. However, he says he hopes families can use the home for large gatherings and reunions.

The LPBW star even goes as far as to suggest that maybe his entire family may also take a weekend to reunite in the old family home sometime soon.
