‘Little People, Big World’: Audrey Roloff Trolled for Dressing Son in Used “Girly” Clothes

Audrey Roloff from Little People, Big World was slammed by fans for dressing her son, Bode Roloff, in secondhand clothes. She and Jeremy Roloff recently went on a family ski trip. But it seems like people were unimpressed with their second-born’s outfit.

Audrey Roloff has been skiing from a very young age. The Little People, Big World cast member wants her children to have the same experience.

So, she and Jeremy Roloff recently took their daughter and son, Ember Roloff and Bode Roloff, to Mount Hood in Oregon to hit the slopes.

The Little People, Big World reality star loved getting to see her children enjoy an activity she also learned as a child. However, it was a challenge taking two kids skiing.

Audrey said that all she could do was laugh at the situation. She also felt that Jeremy Roloff must think her “family is insane” for doing the same thing growing up.

She was excited and shared on Instagram that they were going. But the online trolling that cropped up afterward stunned her. She did something most moms do — but was hated on for it…

Audrey Dresses Bode Roloff in Ember Roloff’s Clothes

Audrey Roloff used her old skiing gear to teach her eldest daughter, Ember Roloff, how to ski. However, the Little People, Big World castmate eventually bought Ember her own equipment. And it looks like she is doing the same with her second baby, Bode Roloff.

Audrey didn’t buy Bode new snow togs for their family trip to the mountains. She put her son in her daughter’s hand-me-downs. Bode wore his sister’s old jacket, snow pants with hearts, and helmet. And it’s all pink.

According to the TLC star, this is what happens “when you’re the second child.” Bode Roloff didn’t seem to mind wearing pink clothes. At his age, there’s a good chance he won’t remember what he wore. And he may even like the pastel hue.

For sure, he will remember the fun he had skiing down the hill. However, it seems like some trolls didn’t think that Audrey should have let Bode wear secondhand clothes.

Fans React to Little People, Big World Celeb Putting Son in Hand-Me-Downs

Audrey Roloff got a lot of mixed opinions from fans about making her son wear pink secondhand clothing. One person called her “lazy” because she couldn’t “be bothered with getting him his own clothes.”

Another person said that Bode looked like a “homeless child.” According to a fan, “parents with different gender kids should try to choose neutral colors.”

However, some Little People, Big World fans praised Audrey for reusing the clothes. One person said there is “no need to waste money on something you already have.”

Someone else was glad that she had Bode wear used clothes, even if they were “girly.”  They even gave her credit because they know Audrey can afford new clothes but chooses not to waste money.

Many fans brought up that it shouldn’t matter if a boy wears pink. One person felt that Audrey Roloff shouldn’t have to explain herself over the color of an outfit.

A supporter said that “pink is only a color.” Should she buy Bode Roloff new clothes — or are secondhand clothes the way to go?
