‘Little People, Big World’: Audrey Roloff Health Update – Dreaded ‘M’ Word Rears Its Ugly Head Again

Little People, Big World star Audrey Roloff is dealing with one of her worst nightmares health-wise once again. The new mom recently gave birth to her second child Bode James Roloff.  So, she is recovering and adjusting to being a mom to two small children. However, Audrey is also dealing with a health issue she also had with her first child, Ember Jean Roloff.

Audrey Roloff’s fear of developing Mastitis sadly has become a reality for the new mom of two. Here’s what Audrey shares about her post-baby health scare.

Little People, Big World: Audrey Roloff Diagnosed With Mastitis

Little People, Big World alum Audrey Roloff feared coming down with the painful diagnosis of mastitis as she did soon after delivering her first child. Mastitis is the inflammation of breast tissue and usually is accompanied by an infection.

Mastitis typically affects breastfeeding women and most often results in breast pain, swelling, warmth, and redness. Many women also develop fevers and body chills. LPBW fans recall Audrey has a severe case of mastitis days after Ember Jean was born. So, of course, the Little People, Big World mom’s radar was dialed into the warning signs as soon as she birthed Bode earlier this month.

LPBW Star Shares Health Concerns

The new mom shared her postpartum journey with her Little People, Big World followers just five days after Bode was born. She was able to avoid the dreaded “M” word mainly because Bode James eats like a champ compared to his big sister. So even though she had to deal with engorged breasts and rapid milk production, little Bode rose to the occasion and took well to his feedings. However just a few days after posting that she made it past that 5-day marker, Audrey did actually develop mastitis.

As Audrey the Little People, Big World alum says, she has amazingly pregnancies and delivers but the fourth trimester (the three months postpartum) her body just doesn’t do well with. Thankfully Audrey is already on the mend from this painful occurrence of mastitis. She credits  her husband Jeremy for being for her and their growing family

Well, I came down with the dreaded “M word” a couple days ago… *cough* mastitis *cough* 😩 I’ve been fighting it with all the things and thankfully my fever is dropping and I’m starting to feel a little better today🙏🏻 Meanwhile my incredible husband has been entertaining Ember girl, helping with Bode, and taking care of me. ⁣ ⁣ This was a special moment that I’m so glad I captured from the other night😭 It was the first time he held and read to both of our babies at the same time💗I just feel so crazy grateful for the humans cuddled up on that chair. ⁣ ⁣ Also, yesterday marked 10 years since the day I met Jeremy – soaking wet and covered in mud, wearing my running buns and a sports bra🙈…If you read our book you know the story behind that 😜 But wow. I can’t believe it’s been a full DECADE since that day. I love you babe. Thank you for loving me and our growing family so well💗

Audrey Roloff Spends Her Days in Milk Stained PJs

Little People, Big World celeb Audrey Roloff has given herself permission to let her body heal after having her second child. She knows her body needs rest after growing a human for the last nine months. There’s lots of recovery to her body from the delivery.

Plus, Audrey says this delivery was much harder on her body. So, she will spend her days resting. It is the most productive thing she can do for her body. Audrey says she will just sit back and embrace JOCO (joy of missing out), and chill her son on her chest wearing milk stained jammies.

At least this time she was better prepared and able to draw on past experiences. However, she does wish more women would be more open with their post-pregnancy experiences.
