Little People, Big World: Audrey & Jeremy Roloff Dream Of Taking over Farm
Audrey Roloff recently spoke about her and Jeremy Roloff’s dream of owning the family farm. He had hoped to take over a portion of his parents’ land since he was a child. However, it didn’t turn out the way the Little People, Big World couple thought it would.
According to Audrey, her husband was led to believe that it would be possible to be part owner. Jeremy also made it known to his family and “publicly on TV” that it was his dream to live on the farm.
It eventually became a “mutual dream” when they wed. So, they started to work towards making it come true.

Audrey Roloff felt that they made it known that they had the desire to take over the farm. She said that they wrote about it in their book, said it on TV, and mentioned it online.
When the Little People, Big World duo were at a point where they could make it possible, they made an offer. But, that offer fell through. So, Audrey and Jeremy thought that it wasn’t meant to be.
Jeremy & Audrey Roloff Try to Save Land
Jeremy Roloff realized that his family wasn’t as aligned in the progression toward him and Audrey Roloff owning the land as they thought they were. He and his wife were ready to make the move. But, it looks like his parents weren’t able to move forward with that.
According to Audrey, she thought that they were trying to “save” the farm. Every year since she and Jeremy wed, there have been threats about having to sell the property. So, the Little People, Big World pair thought they would be saving it by purchasing it. It would also be staying in the family.
But, in the end, Jeremy Roloff and his wife didn’t get the land. She felt that when it comes to his family, “things can be a little complicated.”
A portion of the farm is currently up for sale. So, it seems like the threat of having to sell the land is no longer a threat. But a reality. However, Zach Roloff did make an offer before the land was put up on the market. Yet, it also fell through.
Little People, Big World Couple Struggle to Let Dream Go
Audrey Roloff revealed that she and her husband had difficulty letting go of their dream of being farm owners. The TLC couple fell in love, got married and helped run the business there. Her parents also live close by. They even thought they would raise their children there.
Audrey explained that it was more than just property for Jeremy Roloff. It was like his third parent. The Little People, Big World star spent his childhood running around the property.
However, through this “death of a dream,” Audrey and Jeremy have learned a lot. It has brought them opportunities for growth, new dreams and new visions that they are very excited about.
