Patriarch Matt Roloff Loses his Father – Ron Roloff Dead
Recently, Little People, Big World star Matt Roloff revealed he’d lost his father Ronald Roloff. Matt’s dad was 84 when he died peacefully. Matt called his dad an amazing husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather.
At the time of his death, Ron had been married to Peggy “Huny” Roloff for 63 years. Matt said him, his mom, and other family members were right at Ronald’s bedside when he passed.
He said his father’s last words to him were ones of pride over Matt Roloff’s accomplishments. It looks like not only Matt was there when his dad passed, but also sons Zach Roloff, Jeremy Roloff, Jacob Roloff, and Molly Roloff. Rest in peace.

So, who died on Little People, Big World? For years, there was plenty of rumors and speculation concerning deaths within the TLC family.
In 2021, a story spread rapidly across the Internet claiming that Amy and Matt Roloff suffered a terrible loss.
The reports claimed that Matt and Amy Roloff were mourning a very painful loss. The rumor was that one of the TLC couple’s children died.
Specifically, the rumor mill said that their son Zach passed away. LPBW fans immediately scoured the Internet for details. Headlines about a “sudden loss” had hit the Little People, Big World family.
These reports claimed that Amy and Matt’s son, Zach Roloff, died. However, he is very much alive. Zach, however, took a leave of absence from the farm and family reality series to deal with some personal family issues. That might be what started the online chatter.
LPBW Rumors Continue
Zach and his wife Tori Roloff had a family crisis with their son Jackson Roloff. In 2021, Jackson needed surgery to correct bowing issues with his legs. The family shared Jackson’s progress on their social media accounts.
Zach and Tori revealed it was a challenging time in their family’s life. A few weeks later, another dire post began making waves across the Little People, Big World… Once again, a report implied a death occurred involving the LPBW family or a different TLC family.
Sadly, the news headlines about the Roloff family being in mourning proved true this time. The Little People Big World stars dealt with a sad tragedy within their family unit. So, while the first death reports were false, the next round was true.
Little People Big World Tragedy: Zach & Tori Roloff Share Devastating News
Zach and Tori Roloff once again faced a difficult family crisis. News broke that the entire family was grieving the loss of their son’s unborn baby.
At the time, Tori was pregnant with her third child with Zach. Unfortunately, just a few weeks after the pregnancy announcement, the Little People Big World stars revealed their sad news.
Tori Roloff reveals that she has never experienced such a “horrible and heartbreaking feeling.” She said she’d never been “so sad, angry, and scared in a single moment.”
She said there was no way to prepare to hear “that our sweet baby was gone.” Tori also stated that throughout it all, her husband has been her side.
Zach & Tori Reveal Changes
Tori Roloff said she couldn’t have made it through without the love and support of Zach and the entire Roloff family. Despite the heartbreaking news, fans will be relieved to know that the Little People Big World couple moved past their grief.
These Roloffs currently live in Washington state, roughly 45 minutes from the family farm in Oregon. LPBW fans, however, are happy to hear that things are finally beginning to look up for the family. And Tori Roloff is once fair pregnant and doing well.
She and Zach Roloff, along with the extended family are all eagerly awaiting the birth of their third child. No doubt, Jackson and Lilah Roloff are excited to be big brother and sister to this new baby.
Tori also had to issue an apology to fans for another “death scare”. Last year, she posted that the family dog, Murphy, “was in heaven”. When her followers flipped out, she was quick to clear up things.
Tori made clear she meant their dog was happy to play in the snow. And she asked if they liked that caption better, since it didn’t scare anyone.
Fans are also curious about when and if they can expect Season 23. However, to date, TLC has yet to announce any information regarding the cancellation or renewal of Little People, Big World.
