Days of our Lives mentions of Sarah Horton continue so does that mean Linsey Godfrey is headed back to the NBC soap? Now, Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) remains in the dark about his almost-wife. But will his new gal pal come clean so he can go find his fiancee?
Gwen Rizczech Gets Sarah Horton Info on Days of our Lives
DOOL viewers see that Gwen Rizczech’s (Emily O’Brien) stunned to learn that Sarah Horton never dumped Xander Cook on DOOL. Instead, Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) told her that she’d kidnapped Sarah and stashed her away on the family island. Then, the DiMera dame blackmailed Gwen over this info.
Kristen knows on Days of our Lives, that Gwen is a smitten kitten and fell hard for Xander. So, she counts on Gwen not wanting to lose the hunky lunk. However, if he hears that Sarah’s stuck on an island, he’ll no doubt race to find her. And that means the Brit will be a lonely lady. So, will she spill the beans to dandy Xandy?

Days of our Lives followers know that the ex-gardener is smitten with Gwen too. But that’s all predicated on him being dumped by his would-be bride. Only Sarah Horton never dumped him. She wanted to marry him that day and only missed their nuptials because she was drugged and stuffed in a steamer trunk.
Will Gwen Come Clean to Xander on DOOL?
A Days of our Lives promo for Fall showed Xander hopping out of bed with Gwen, ready to go search for Sarah. So, that means that someone tells him the truth. And it will likely be Gwen who caves and tells him. However, it’ll be hard to handle since she’s already devastated from losing her dad, Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford).
Recall on Days of our Lives, Xandy went to bat for his girlfriend with her daddy Jack, pushing him to give her a second chance. Perhaps he will. Even so, it would crush Gwen to lose this man who loves her totally and without reserve. These two found acceptance in each other’s arms — without judgment about their sometimes shady life choices.

Meanwhile, Sarah Horton held him to a higher standard on Days of our Lives. He changed his life to be a better man for her. So, will Sarah return and Xander dumps Gwen? The promo below points to him rushing off to hunt her down. (See the 52-second mark.) But does that mean we’ll see Sarah Horton back in Salem soon?
Is Linsey Godfrey Heading back to Days of our Lives?
As of now, there are no new DOOL episodes listed on actress Linsey Godfrey’s IMDB page. However, she has booked a new short film. The actor seems to be focused on her health, often sharing photos of herself lifting weights — and the new muscle she’s amassed in the months since she was last seen on Days of our Lives.
Once Xander Cook knows Sarah’s not living her happily ever after with Rex Brady (Kyle Lowder), he’ll want to go find her. But does that mean Sarah Horton returns to Salem? Maybe. He just had an intense chat with her mom, Maggie Horton (Suzanne Rogers). Clearly, Maggie would prefer to see him with her daughter.
So, it could be that Xandy saves Sarah but she decides not to return to town with him. Or perhaps he’ll stay away from Days of our Lives with her for a while.
