Days of Our Lives Comings and Goings: Victor Kiriakis Finally Back on the Scene
DOOL comings and goings confirm Victor Kiriakis returns to the scene soon. Soap Dirt readers have wondered about octogenarian John Aniston’s whereabouts for a while now. The wait is soon over as Victor is on-scene this Wednesday, September 22. He will certainly have something to say about what’s happening in Salem. Victor Kiriakis is known for his quick wit and wisecracks on the NBC sudser.
Days of Our Lives this week sees Victor’s legacy business, Titan Industries, running off the rails. Gabi Hernandez (Camila Banus) and ex-mechanic Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash) are making a power play. Now, Philip Kiriakis (Jay Kenneth Johnson) finally caught on, only to be fooled by Jake’s quick thinking. Then, the dastardly duo shifted blame to Victor’s grandson, Brady Black (Eric Martsolf).

However, Brady runs to granddad Victor this week. He claims the company is going downhill because of Philip fixation on Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin). Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal Brady plots with Victor to save the family biz (and maybe steal Chloe for himself). Of course, Victor Kiriakis doesn’t want her near either guy. We can’t wait to see Victor return to the screen this week. Let’s hope he stays a while.
Search for Sarah Horton in DOOL Comings and Goings
After long last, the truth of Sarah Horton’s disappearance will soon be uncovered on Days of Our Lives. The exciting new Fall promo offered a taste of what’s to come for the soap. Just as it looked like the clipfest ended, it lit up again with a frantic Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) telling lover Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) that Sarah is stranded on a deserted island.
Of course, Xander wants to find his ex-fiancee on Days of Our Lives. Recall that Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) drugged and kidnapped Sarah Horton and dumped her on the infamous family island. Sarah knew too much about Kristen’s deceptive plans, so she had to go. Plus, Kristen slapped on a silly Sarah mask and broke up with Xander on their wedding day. Then, she got frisky with Rex Brady (Kyle Lowder).

In the end, dandy Xandy thought Sarah left town with sexy Rexy. But Rex’s mama, Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow), knows the truth since Kristen planned the same fate for Kate. Spoilers hint Maggie offers advice to her stepson Philip Kiriakis about how he’s running the family business. She doesn’t want him going down the same dark path Victor went down.
Further, updates indicate Rex makes the trek back to Salem with big news for Xander on Days of Our Lives. Most likely Rex gets wind of Sarah’s whereabouts. Does his mother Kate recall and tell him what she knows? Or will Kristen decide she’s got no more reason to hold Sarah Horton captive and dial up Rex with some info on Days of Our Lives.
