‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: 3 Signs Sarah Horton Is Headed Back to Salem
Days of Our Lives spoilers hint Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) could return to Salem and there are a few hints dropped lately it might finally happen. These three indicators point to the return of Xander Cook Kiriakis’ (Paul Telfer) honey coming back. Remember, she still thinks they’re engaged – although he thinks she dumped him and skipped town. Could her big return come for the next NBC soap sweeps period?
Days of Our Lives Hint 1: Rex Brady Returns – Sarah Brady’s Other Ex
Recently, Kyle Lowder shared an Instagram post revealing his comeback to DOOL. The Rex Brady actor showed himself in what appears to be one of the hair and makeup rooms on the set of Days of our Lives. Remember, Sarah Horton supposedly left town with her ex, Rex. Yet, Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk), in her Sarah mask, ditched him too.
But with Rex’s return, Xander should question him about his new life with Sarah, right? With Rex Brady back on canvas soon, there are several people that should raise questions about where’s Sarah Horton and why no one has heard from her. Remember, masked-Kristen convinced sexy Rexy that she was through with Xander and wanted to be with him on Days of our Lives.
Of course, Rex fell for the deception hook, line, and sinker on Days of our Lives. Her fake Sarah plot was to have Xander catch the two of them in the sack. Her plan to deceive both Rex and Xander worked. DOOL recaps show her convincing both men she needed to leave Salem to clear her head after all the hardships she’d been through.
However, the real Sarah Horton was drugged and dumped on an island. There, Sarah couldn’t rat out Kristen. But since Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) dumped Kristen, she has no reason to keep Sarah captive – or to keep the secret. Except to punish Xander. But she might let Sarah Horton go. Or, Kristen could drop a line to Rex to give him a hint about Sarah on Days of our Lives.
DOOL Clue 2: Maggie Horton Arrives Back in Salem
Days of our Lives comings and goings reveal that Maggie Horton comes back to Salem soon. Remember, Maggie left town this last Spring. She left to be with her terminally ill daughter, Summer Townsend (Marie Wilson). So, she wasn’t around when Sarah Horton went missing. In fact, Maggie was disappointed that she couldn’t be at Sarah’s wedding to Xander.
Days of Our Lives spoilers indicate Maggie Horton comes back with advice for stepson Philip Kiriakis (Jay Kenneth Johnson). But shouldn’t Maggie have heard from Sarah by now? And if not, isn’t she frantic? Is Kristen keeping up appearances and sending texts or emails to Sarah Horton’s loved ones so they won’t realize she’s MIA?
That’s not improbable since the DiMera dame’s a master schemer. Without a doubt, if she’s not heard from Sarah, Maggie should be on high alert. But remember, Kristen commandeered Sarah’s cell to make the deception look legit on Days of our Lives. The writers could show Maggie and Xander in a heart-to-heart about Sarah Horton.
After all, Xander and Maggie were close friends. In fact, Maggie stood up for Xander a time or two. Will they realize Sarah didn’t leave on her own accord? Also, with Rex in town, will he check in and explain Sarah’s not been with him? It sure seems like someone in Salem should soon realize all is not as it seems on the NBC soap.
Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Will Kate Remember Kristen’s Confession?
Someone in town knows that Kristen stashed Sarah on an island. Recall when Kristen ran amok on DOOL, she held Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) hostage. During this time, she did some villain monologuing about her diabolical plan to take her to the same island where she dumped Sarah Horton. However, Kate escaped that fate.
Still, Kate has the info that Sarah’s not off somewhere living her life – but abandoned on an island. Perhaps Kate doesn’t recall Kristen’s confession. After all, she drugged Kate on Days of our Lives. But, Rex’s visit could spark his mother’s memory. Right now, only Kate and Kristen know what really happened to Sarah. Could that change soon?
Hint 3 at Sarah’s Return – Linsey Godfrey in Days of Our Lives Promo
Recently, DOOL dropped a promo trailer featuring many current cast members – and interestingly, the NBC soap started it with ex-cast member Linsey Godfrey, who plays Sarah Horton. So, why use Linsey unless she might be coming back to DOOL? While it’s not a sure sign of her return, it’s definitely an item of interest.
You can see the hysterical Days of our Lives video above. There’s lots of water flinging, faux-soapy goodness, and a shirtless Lamon Archey (nice!). And Linsey Godfrey is prominently featured. The foreshadowing is subtle but there. Yet, with DOOL off the air through August 6, viewers have to wait to see if and when Sarah Horton is seen once again.
But, with her ex-Rex and mama Maggie coming back soon, we could see Sarah Horton sooner rather than later on the soap. Plus, maybe Kristen or Kate could finally reveal what they know and that Sarah’s not simply out of town but MIA due to nefarious reasons. We get new episodes of DOOL back on Monday, August 9.
