‘Days of our Lives’ Comings and Goings: Four Deaths – Will Any Return?

Get fresh Days of our Lives comings and goings here at Soap Dirt as casting news breaks for the NBC soap. There’s a ton of cast changes hitting the revolving door at DOOL.

Days of our Lives Comings and Goings: Four Deaths – Will any Resurrect?

Currently, in the afterlife on Days, Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) thinks she’s in heaven when she runs into Susan Banks (Stacy Haiduk). But a flash of yellow eyes tells another story. The devil’s taken up residence in wacky Susan.

So, was Doc snatched by Satan and shoved into the bowels of Hell? It also begs the question of where are Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) and Kayla Brady (Mary Beth Evans). The three of them died recently.

And Susan passed away a few weeks ago. Days of our Lives comings and goings are always surprising thanks to recurring resurrections. But the fab Ms. Kate is all ash and in an urn — how do you come back from that?

Plus, we wonder if divine intervention sends the three recently-deceased women back to life in Salem, will Susan get a second-chance too? For now, wait to see who’s really gone from the Peacock streaming soap opera.

Also in the week ahead, Louise Sorel guests as Vivian Alamain, but only for a phone call. Will Horton (Chandler Massey) jets off to make a movie. And Allie Horton’s seen less as Lindsay Arnold drops to recurring…

DOOL Ins and Outs: Lucas Horton Back – Orpheus Too

DOOl casting updates confirm that Lucas Horton is back for a short arc centered around the death of his mother. Last week, Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) flatlined after the toxin-caused illness took her life. That’s all down to Orpheus (George DelHoyo).

The bad guy infected Lucas’ mother and also Kayla Brady (Mary Beth Evans) and Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall). It looks like the other two ladies follow Kate up the stairway to heaven. But there might yet be hope for Lucas Horton’s mom since dead is rarely permanent on Days of our Lives.

For now, watch for Lucas to learn of his mom’s passing and turn on Orpheus looking for payback. Will he risk his life to avenge his mom against this villain? We’ll see what happens on the Peacock soap. Look for Lucas’ return to last several episodes.

Who’s Leaving Days of our Lives – John Aniston Dies at Age 89 – Victor Kiriakis Last Airdate is…

Jennifer Aniston revealed on Monday 11/14/2022 that her father, legendary Days of our Lives actor John Aniston died on November 11, 2022. She revealed her dad died peacefully and without pain.

Days of Our Lives: Victor Kiriakis - John Aniston RIP

DOOL fans grieve this loss and many wonder how many episodes Aniston has left as Victor Kiriakis. It’s tragic news that the soap legend passed but viewers can expect a few more appearances/

The Peacock soap tapes episodes of Days of our Lives about six months ahead of their airdates. So, when is John Aniston’s last airdate? They’ve filmed well into 2023 but it seems the actor wasn’t filming at the time he passed.

Viewers will see John Aniston’s last episode as Victor Kiriakis soon. His final airdate is reportedly on Monday. December 26, 2022. So, get your tissues ready for Victor’s last Christmas in Salem. It’ll be six weeks from today that we say goodbye to Victor on DOOL.

Who’s New in Salem?

The latest comeback is a horrific on to the Peacock soap. It’s rapist douchebag Charlie Dale, played by the talented Mike Manning. He’s not a zombie this time. And he’s back for mom Ava Vitali not his baby mama. Don’t miss it – Halloween in Salem!!

Tripp Dalton (Lucas Adams) is back in town to help his ailing stepmother. And he’s also looking for his other mother, Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun). She looks to be MIA but she’s just lurking on the down low.

Also Wendy Shin (Victoria Grace) makes the move from Beyond Salem over to Days of Our Lives. She’s hot on the trail of big Brother Li and palling around with Johnny D soon!

Mike Horton’s come and gone already after a whirlwind two episodes of DOOL. He took his sister Jennifer Horton (Cady McClain) off to rehab for her pill addiction. So, it’s ta-ta for now but she’ll be back since her hubby stayed behind…

There are some hot plots happening as the soap flips from NBC over to Peacock. The latest two returns are Will Horton (Chandler Massey) and Mike Horton (Roark Chitlow). Will’s back for Sonny Kiriakis’ (Zach Tinker) close call with that nasty stabbing.

Also, in the new Fall promo, there are other hot returns. One is Roark Chitlow as Mike Horton, Jenn Horton’s (Cady McClain) brother. He might be back for his sister’s struggle with pain pills, already previewed in recent Days of our Lives episodes.

Eli Grant Back for Holidays

Meanwhile, Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) is back with the twins for the Christmas holiday. Marci Miller’s back for a moment as ghostly Abby Deveraux for heartfelt scenes after her hubby Chad finds out who killed her.

Rex Brady’s back as Kyle Lowder drops in for a stint (hopefully shirtless)… Lucas Adams returns as Tripp Dalton for his stepmother’s health crisis. And he stops by to pop Johnny, who he probably suspects of sleeping with his mom Ava.

But Johnny’s soon forgetting Tripp’s mom and focusing on Li Shin’s kid sister, Wendy Shin (Victoria Grace), a Beyond Salem transplant. This Fall promises hot new plots — and perhaps more sizzling scenes over on Peacock, since they’re freer on a streaming platform.

Also, watch for Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) to come back with the twins, although it’s unlikely we’ll get Sal Stowers back as Lani Price — unless it’s a video chat. Wait to see — but that’s closer to Christmas.

Rob Scott Wilson Debuts as Alex Kiriakis

There’s a new, rarely-dressed hunk in town and it’s Alex Kiriakis. Robert Scott Wilson got a shiny new recast role that’s far from Ben Weston. He’s looking good in a suit but mostly seen in his birthday suit lately.

Alex tried to date the two fluid ladies in town but that didn’t pan out for him. Now, he’ll pursue recast Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein). How will her dad Patch react to her sizzling with the hunky businessman on Days?

Jan Spears Takes the Baby and Runs

This week, look for Jan Spears (Heather Lindell) to return from the “dead”. Belle Black (Martha Madison) knocked her off the docks with an oar but it’s too much to expect she’d actually die and go away for good.

Look for her return as Evan Frears (Brock Kelly) gets the DNA test and takes custody of their baby. She conked him out and snatched their kid! Plus, Kyle Lowder is back as Rex Brady who may have some info that will alibi Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey).

Peter Reckell made a heavenly return as Bo Brady at a critical moment on the sudser. But he’s not done yet! We’ll see more of Bo in the upcoming season of Beyond Salem.

As for the main series, Lucas Horton‘s (Bryan Dattilo) is back and still lying. And his fiancee, Sami Brady’s (Alison Sweeney) hits Salem soon in her Days of our Lives return.

Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) was in and out. But she’ll be played by role originator Eileen Davidson when she shows up on the digital version of the soap.

BIG Exit – Murder in Salem on Days

Plus, there’s a huge exit coming with one murder (and maybe two) coming very soon to Days. As for Beyond Salem, hunky Christopher Sean‘s back as Paul Narita when he catches up with his dad.

He’ll spend time with John Black (Drake Hgestyn) and stepmom, Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall). Also on the Days of our Lives spinoff, Kristian Alfonso shares screen time with Reckell in some sort of wild Bo and Hope Brady reunion.

Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) and Kayla Brady (Mary Beth Evans) go see their kids in Seattle – Joey Johnson (Tanner Stine) and Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein).

And a huge casting coup was Steve Burton, who’ll reprise the role of Harris Michaels that he played on DOOL back in the late 80s in his daytime debut. He left GH over their vax policy and now landed at NBC.
