Is ‘Little People, Big World’ Cancelled?

Is Little People, Big World cancelled – with hints dropping left and right from Tori Roloff, Matt Roloff, and others. Was Season 24 the last we’ll see of the Roloffs or will TLC bring them back for more?

Is Little People, Big World Cancelled on TLC?

The LPBW Season 24 finale aired on January 3, 2023 — and it could be the last time we see the long-running reality series. The reality television show first premiered on March 4, 2006, on the TLC network and has since become a beloved series for many viewers.

With 17 years of the Roloffs and more than 380 episodes, many viewers feel like they know Matt Roloff, Amy Roloff, and their kids. The show followed the daily lives of the Roloffs and their four kids on their Oregon farm.

Little People, Big World watchers got to see Zach Roloff and his twin Jeremy, sister Molly, and youngest Jacob Roloff as they grew up on the farm. Now, all the kids are grown, Matt and Amy are divorced, and all their kids got married.

Plus, they have seven grandkids and counting. But if the chatter is true and their reality show is cancelled what does that mean for the fans? The good news is, aside from Molly Roloff, the other three kids, and their spouses offer frequent updates on social media.

When Will TLC Let Us Know — LPBW Cancelled or Renewed?

It seems unlikely that the network will announce they’ve cancelled the series. Why not? Well, if you think back to 2010, TLC said at the time they’d axed the show about American’s favorite family.

13 years ago, that press release said, “One of television’s favorite families prepares to say goodbye as TLC confirms that the previously announced upcoming sixth season… will be the series finale.”

However, it was actually the tenth season of Little People, Big World by then. They seemed to have been counting differently than viewers back in the day. Back then, Matt and Amy Roloff confirmed the cancellation calling it a “rewarding journey”.

Yet they kept airing content — they aired many special episodes including ones focused on Roloff Farms as a wedding venue. Then, they resumed airing regular seasons, despite the cancellation press release. It seems they changed their minds.

Amy Roloff Confirmed a Two-Season Little People, Big World Renewal

In late 2021. Amy Roloff told ET that they’d obtained a two-season renewal. That was just after Season 22 ended in November 2021. So, that covered seasons 23 and 24. Since then, there’s no word of another season ahead.

Plus, there are a ton of hints from the Roloffs that Little People, Big World might not be back. First, Tori Roloff said on social media, “I think our time is definitely coming to a close, but we’re trying to enjoy it while it’s here.”

She also made a cryptic post about saying “goodbye” to things in their life. Meanwhile, Amy Roloff’s monetizing her Little Kitchen enterprise. She’s added three tiers of paid subscriptions ($5-$20) which will give subscribers updates on her life and family.

Meanwhile, Matt Roloff and Caryn Chandler are busy building their dream home on the Oregon farm property. But they’re also spending tons of time in Surprise, Arizona, where Matt’s mother also lives.

Many fans would like to see one last season to tie up all the loose ends. But, with Jacob, Molly, Jeremy, and Audrey Roloff stepping back from the series, there’s only the parents and their significant others.

Zach and Tori Roloff remain fan favorites, but it sounds like she warned they were exiting the series too. If Little People, Big World is cancelled, then we may not know until this Fall. We expect a renewal confirmation by October — if not, then that could be it for LPBW.
