‘General Hospital’: Sonny Wrong to Hide Near-Sexcapades from Carly?
Many General Hospital watchers see Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) as betraying Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) by hiding his feelings for another woman. Recently, on GH, Carly was painfully honest about her feelings for Jason Morgan (Steve Burton). But, Sonny chose not to tell her about trying to bed Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros). Yet Carly is sure to learn the truth and flip out, suspect ABC soap opera scoops.
General Hospital: Sonny Corinthos Stunned by “Jarly” Truth
GH spoilers recall Sonny Corinthos confronted his best friend Jason about his wedding night with Carly. He was completely honest with Sonny. Then, Jason admitted that he and Carly were ready to sleep together on the night of their wedding, remind General Hospital recaps.
Sonny Corinthos understands that they thought he was dead. And he doesn’t necessarily feel betrayed but it still hurts. So then, of course, he asked Carly Corinthos for her side of the story. And although it was hard for her, she told him the truth.
That truth was that she fell back into love with Jason, and she would’ve slept with him if Sonny didn’t walk in when he did. It’s hard for Sonny Corinthos to accept the truth. However, he doesn’t have room to judge “Jarly.” He is keeping a massive secret from Carly Corinthos plus everyone else on General Hospital.

General Hospital fan-fave Sonny Corinthos doesn’t have much right to be upset about the “Jarly” romance. Yes, he might worry that they still love each other more than friends. But he isn’t telling his wife the whole truth about his time in Nixon Falls.
Of course, Carly Corinthos knows Nina knew he was alive with amnesia. But, Carly has no idea that Nina and amnesiac “Mike” were in love with one another on General Hospital.
And they would have fallen into bed together if Nina didn’t stop things from getting more serious. As wrong as Nina was for lying, she knew sleeping with “Mike” was going too far.

So, it’s not right for Carly Corinthos and her BFF Jason to take on all the guilt. After all, Sonny Corinthos had a new life in PA and was moving on as Soap Dirt mentioned. He never even made an effort to find out his true identity.
But he shouldn’t let “Jarly” drown in guilt when he should feel just as guilty. None of them did anything wrong. Carly thought her husband died, and Sonny Corinthos didn’t know who he was. However, he is now knowingly keeping the shocking truth from Carly.
Perhaps, he is trying to protect Nina from his wife. But, she is bound to discover his secret sooner or later. And when she does, Sonny will face her wrath. So, “CarSon” may be doomed on General Hospital.
Nina Steals Sonny’s Heart on General Hospital?
GH spoilers suspect that this is not the end of Sonny Corinthos’ story with the woman he fell for as “Mike”. Eventually, the truth about their romance will get out, believe General Hospital spoilers.
Currently, Nina is holding all the cards because she can tell Carly about her and “Mike” at any moment. If Carly goes after the other woman for revenge and pushes her too far, she may blurt out the truth.
If for no other reason than to hurt Carly Corinthos. Of course, Sonny will be furious with his Nixon Falls gal pal, and he will need to answer to his spouse. However, “CarSon” may not survive the lies.
Carly will be livid that she was honest with her hubby, and he was not forthcoming with her, say General Hospital updates. Then, she will likely want to know if Sonny Corinthos still harbors feelings for Nina.
Even if Sonny doesn’t admit it, he still cares for Nina and gets emotional whenever he is around her. So, once the truth blows up in Sonny’s face, he may lose Carly, leaving her available for Jason.
And the kingpin may decide to move on from Carly Corinthos, then follow his heart back to Nina. So, Sonny Corinthos might not be over Nina, and this could be the beginning of a new romance for them on the ABC daytime drama.
