‘General Hospital’: Fans Clamoring for Tyler Christopher’s Return as Nikolas
General Hospital fans are eager for Tyler Christopher to resume the role of Nikolas Cassadine. GH viewers want the OG Nik back on-screen. Furthermore, they’re hoping that the character gets redeemed soon on the ABC daytime drama.
Nikolas Cassadine in Bad Shape on General Hospital
Currently, on GH, Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) doesn’t look too good. Nikolas recently faced off with his soon-to-be ex-wife Ava Jerome (Maura West). Fans will recall that Ava teamed up with Nik’s son, Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez).
Spencer wants to take Nik’s unborn baby away, and Ava is helping him do it. But, of course, Nikolas is furious. So, he threatened to kidnap Ava’s daughter, Avery Corinthos (Scarola twins), recall General Hospital recaps.
Nik feels that if Ava is taking a child away from him, he will take a child from her. Of course, she won’t let Nik anywhere near Avery. So, she clobbered him over the head, and he looked dead.
Now, it looks like Nikolas is being written off because Marus Coloma, who has been playing him for the past three years, was let go when his contract was up.
But General Hospital viewers are chomping at the bit for the original Nikolas, Tyler Christopher, to step back into the role. And there is a chance they might get their wish.
GH Fans in Frenzy over Tyler Christopher
Nikolas Cassadine is in trouble and may disappear soon. Fans hope this means a transition back to Tyler. Many fans loved Marcus Coloma in the role of Nik.
And that goes for Adam Huss, also. But long-time General Hospital viewers believe Tyler is the one and only Nikolas.
And they’re not being quiet about it. Fans are buzzing all over social media, pleading with Tyler to return. He keeps his fanbase in the loop on his life and current projects.
And while he’s busy, it doesn’t mean a GH return is out of the question. And if fans keep pushing, Tyler Christopher and the General Hospital showrunners might listen.
OG Nik Returns to General Hospital?
Not long ago, Tyler Christopher said he would be open to playing Nik again, even if he were only filling in. But GH watchers want him back permanently. Tyler originated the role in 1996, and while the part has been recast before, Ty holds a special place in fans’ hearts.
Of course, he’s struggled in the past. But he’s currently in a great place in life, and his career is booming. Indeed, it appears that now would be the perfect time for Ty to come home to General Hospital.
