‘General Hospital’ Bombshell: Is Nelle Benson the Hook Killer?
Is a General Hospital bombshell blowing up soon – could Nelle Benson be the Hook Killer? Was Chloe Lanier‘s recent comeback foreshadowing her return from the not-so-dead on the ABC soap? Take a look at the clues on GH.
Nelle Benson Killing People Close to Corinthos Family on General Hospital?
Remember the original theory that the victims were all close to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard)? That was what the PCPD thought but then they swapped theories. Now, they think it’s all about Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali).
But what if their first notion was correct on General Hospital? Let’s look at the first three victims of the Hook KIller and see why Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier) would have killed them.
Ava Jerome (Maura West) was first. If Nelle’s lurking in Port Charles, she’ll know that Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) is her mother. And that means Kiki Jerome (Haley Erin) was her half-sister and Ava is her mother.
Brando Corbin’s (Johnny Wactor) close to Sonny and Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) so he’s good target. And she might have been stalking Joss Jacks (Eden McCoy) first then changed her mind.
As for Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) on General Hospital, she trounced Nelle in court, so Nina’s psycho-daughter would definitely target her. Plus, she’s the Corinthos family lawyer.
Diane Miller Might Not Recognize Undead Nelle-from-Hell on GH
Remember also that Diane identified the killer as a woman but was fuzzy on who it was. That’s one reason that it might not be Esme Prince (Avery Pohl). Plus, Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) has her locked up right now.
So, if the Hook Killer strikes again while she’s imprisoned at Wyndemere, that confirms Esme’s innocence. And it begs the question of who’s the woman wreaking havoc in Port Chuck. Could it be Nelle Benson?
General Hospital viewers know Diane would ordinarily recognize Nelle. But she was in a state of shock because of the attack. Plus, Carly’s stepsister is supposed to be dead, so she’s not on the lady lawyer’s radar.
Last, Nelle might be in a wig or have dyed her hair to disguise her appearance. All those factors combined could prevent Diane from recognizing her. So, that’s plausible too.
What About Oz Haggerty’s Murder on General Hospital?
The Hook Killer just killed Oz Haggerty (Max Faugno). It looks like venom wasn’t even an issue for poor bartender Oz. He bled out on the pier. And he sold Esme the burner phone for the revenge-p**n video.
So, it looks on General Hospital like someone Esme would kill. But that doesn’t discount Nelle from being the culprit. For one, it might have been random. Nelle might have killed and robbed him for pocket money.
Alternatively, she might have killed him to help frame someone else for her crimes. Or there might be some unseen history between Oz and Nelle Benson that we’ll see later in flashbacks. They can make this work too.
General Hospital Foreshadows Nelle Benson Resurrection
Last month, Chloe Lanier was back as Nelle. She popped up first in Willow Tait’s (Katelyn MacMullen) bloody nightmare. Then, she showed up in a vision of her mom Nina at the cemetery.
On General Hospital, the nutcase killed Carly and Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell). If you look at the photo below, you can see that Carly’s attack looks a lot like the Hook Killer’s work, doesn’t it?
Was this all a big hint on GH that Nelle Benson is back from the dead and looking for revenge? Is she killing people close to Carly and Sonny to sadden and weaken them before she makes the big move to destroy them?
