Esme Prince sure looks like the General Hospital Hook Killer — but if she’s not, who could it be? In the past, GH writers began a whodunnit with no culprit selected and other times changed it mid-plot making the outcome wildly improbable.

If Esme Prince Isn’t the Hook Killer on General Hospital… Is it Liz?

The first attack was on Ava Jerome (Maura West), someone that Esme Prince (Avery Pohl) despises. And we know the killer is a woman. Remember that Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) is missing time at the picnic on General Hospital.

She had one of her blackouts. And Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) covered for her. So, Liz has no alibi. And with her medical access, she might be able to get hold of the toxin used. While Liz has no reason to harm anyone, she is unhinged lately.

Could it be Esme’s Biological Mom Wreaking Havoc on GH?

Remember, when Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) awoke after surgery at General Hospital? She said a woman attacked her, but struggled to identify the violent female who assaulted her. It’s not clear if it’s because her memory’s foggy or she doesn’t know the person.

Diane would definitely recognize either Liz or Esme. But what if it’s the biological mom of evil Esme Prince? We still don’t know who she is because Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) won’t tell her. Some suspect it’s Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner).

But General Hospital viewers know Felicia’s no killer. Yet if she’s not the birth mom of evil Esme, maybe it’s someone much scarier that gestated Ryan’s spawn. Maybe her mother is a full-blown psycho like her bio-dad. If so, she might be killing to get vengeance for her daughter Esme.

Is the Hook Killer Someone Unknown on General Hospital?

Currently, on GH, all signs point to Esme Prince as the Hook Killer. She’s skulking around Port Charles in the same black hooded cloak. And aside from Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor), every victim is someone Esme hates. And Brando might have just been a matter of his bad timing…

Next week, Oz Haggerty’s (Max Faugno) body is found after the Hook gets him. And Esme already tried to kill him once before. But the culprit could be some rando hired by a Corinthos rival to cause panic on General Hospital.

Perhaps Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) is behind this. Or maybe unhinged Nelle Benson’s (Chloe Lanier) resurrected and targeting people around Sonny. Surely, GH will bring her back at some point.

All the evidence points to Esme Prince so if the culprit is someone else, let’s hope the writers thought this through. Hopefully, when the murderer’s revealed, it’ll all make sense and won’t feel like they just cobbled it together at the end.
