‘Days of our Lives’ Twist: Real Killer Wore Sarah Horton Mask?

Eyewitness Testimony Taints Sarah Horton – Days of our Lives Spoilers
This week on DOOL, Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) implicated Sarah Horton in the murder of her cousin Abby. He was relieved to recall that he cut his hand slicing a lemon for his cocktail. But his testimony is the worst thing for the brain-addled doc.
Sarah was finally about to marry her honey, Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) until the new cop in town busted in to interrupt their living room wedding. New Days of our Lives detective Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) insisted on some answers. But Xander offered to marry his accused fiancee anyway.
Instead, Sarah said she needed to sort this out before they can get their happily ever after. But considering her recent spells of violence, things don’t look good for her. But the hallucinating doc insists she never made it there to have the conversation with Abigail.
So, the big question is whether Lucas really saw her — or just someone that only looked like her. It wouldn’t be the first time there were some lookalike shenanigans. But who would do this to her on the NBC daytime drama?
There are Many Masks at Play – Did Gwen Rizczech Kill her Sister on DOOL?
Remember there are several masks in the awful collection of Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk). She learned the tech from Dr. Rolf (recast Richard Wharton). And he’s back soon. And someone else was out and about that night.
Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) slipped out of prison, as Days of our Lives viewers saw. She missed bed-check. And she’s also been one that wore some of Kirsten’s masks to make trouble. Recall, she wore a Sarah-mask to fool Xander not long ago…
Also, remember that Gwen did a horrible thing to Sarah Horton recently. She drugged her and then swapped the cure to ensure her rival stayed addled and away from Xander. So, maybe Gwen wore a mask and took revenge.
Did Another Villain Use a Sarah Mask on Days of our Lives?
There’s always the question of whether someone else did in Abby wearing a Sarah mask. Of course, Kristen herself is a likely candidate since she’s slippery and ruthless. But Gwen seems the likeliest choice for many reasons on Days of our Lives.
First, killing Abby would satisfy her since she hates her little sister. Second, it would implicate Sarah and send her to prison, away from Xandy, who Gwennie loves. She has the motive to get out, kill Abigail, and do it in a Sarah Horton mask.
So, while Lucas is certain he saw Sarah, he might not have seen the doctor really. He’s an unreliable drunk witness. So, we’ll have to see how seriously the cops take him. Plus, he’s got a big incentive to point the finger at someone else.
We’ll find out soon if Sarah Horton’s arrested for her cousin’s killing. But did she stab dear Abby? Or was it someone in a lookalike mask that did the awful deed to ruin her life and get revenge? Maybe…
