‘Counting On’: Pregnant Jessa Duggar Worried about Predators
Counting On star Jessa Duggar Seewald worried about predators during a family camping trip. She and Ben Seewald took their little ones to spend the night outdoors. But, it seems like a lurking predator kept Jessa awake.
Counting On: Jessa Duggar & Ben Seewald Take Kids Camping
Last fall, Jessa Duggar and Ben Seewald bought a giant tent so their family could go camping. But, before they went outdoors, the Counting On couple did a trial run in their house. They set up the tent in their living room, and they camped overnight inside it with their three kids. Jessa had planned to go out and do the “real deal.” But, then the weather got too cold and it never happened. She was also early in her pregnancy and felt sick.

Now that it’s summer, the Counting On reality star is ready to take her three kids camping outdoors for the first time. According to Jessa Duggar Seewald the most important thing to have while camping is good bedding. She said she isn’t the type to “rough it.” She wants to feel comfortable when sleeping. Plus, being pregnant, feeling comfortable is important. So, Jessa made sure to pack a comfy blanket and pillow.
Unfortunately, the weather wasn’t ideal for their family camping trip. The forecast predicted rain for the weekend. Jessa Duggar knew that they would be dealing with a lot of rain and potential thunderstorms. She and Ben Seewald had planned the trip several weeks ago and didn’t know what the weather would be. However, Jessa was glad that the temperature wasn’t going to be too hot.
Jessa & Ben’s Kids Struggle to Sleep in Tent
Once Jessa Duggar and Ben Seewald got to the campsite they didn’t waste any time setting up their home for the weekend. Ben was in charge of putting up the tent. And, it seems like the Counting On castmate didn’t struggle to put it together. However, it was the first time he had put the tent up outside. He only had experience with making the tent inside their home. But, Ben did get some help from his son.
The Counting On duo’s three kids were excited to be spending the night in nature. Jessa Duggar Seewald watched as her little ones explored the campground. They even had a bonfire before heading to bed.
The following morning, Jessa Duggar revealed that her children had a hard time sleeping through the night. According to the TLC star, her boys couldn’t sleep because they were so excited. As for Ivy, she woke up a few times in the middle of the night cranky. Jessa believes that her daughter was having a bad dream since she kept talking in her sleep. Yet, she was eventually able to get all three of them to bed.
Counting On Celeb Hears a Predator
Jessa Duggar seemed to have a restless night as well. She heard a supposed predator wrestling in the middle of the night. She thought that there was an animal outside of their tent making crunching noises. Jessa freaked out over the sound. However, she stayed calm by telling herself that it was just a raccoon that could have found some of the leftover food that they didn’t put away.
Overall, the Counting On TLC star thought camping went well. Jessa Duggar Seewald felt that it was a good experience. She may be in her last trimester and giving birth soon, but that didn’t stop her from having fun with her family. There’s a good chance that it might not be the last time the Seewald’s go camping.
