She has reportedly drifted further and further away from her strict family upbringing. Jessa Duggar is continuously testing her parent’s beliefs and wants to branch further out on her own.

Jessa Duggar is ready to live life her way. She thrives on finally having the ability and the means to live her life as she sees fit. Jessa, 29, continues to shock Counting On fans with her less conservative yet stylish wardrobe choices. She recently stepped out to hit up a local music store.
During a date night outing with her husband, Ben Seewald, Jessa is sporting a trendy pair of tight-fitting ripped black jeans.
Unfortunately, the jeans that reveal the skin on Jessa Duggar’s thigh are a double whammy regarding Jim Bob’s strict dress code. Her bold actions are meant to message her family that she is changing with the times.
Jessa is not only dressing less conservatively, but she is also experimenting with a few other items on her father’s keep-away list. Jessa’s rebellious side is being seen when raising her family.
Much to her Counting on parents, Jim Bob and Michelle’s dismay Jessa opts to send her children to public school. This is a very different form of education than the homeschooling she received.
Jessa Is Over Living by The Rules
The former reality star has also indulged in an adult beverage from time to time. She has even defied the family rules by allowing her sons to dance at a recent family wedding.
However, the Counting On star is making her feelings clear that she is enjoying her independence and freedom away from the harsh judgment of her parents.
Duggar’s fans find it shocking and exciting that she is taking a stand — by living her life her way. She also reveals she is much more relaxed than living under Jim Bob’s controlling hand. Jessa took to social media to share a photo of her night out, and fans immediately commented on her jeans.
Counting On: How Do Jim Bob & Michelle Duggar Feel About Their Children’s Choices?
Some questioned Jessa Duggar about what her parents thought about her veering far from the family beliefs. However, most praised her and encouraged her to live a full and happy life.
Jessa is not the only Counting On family member to break some of the rules. In the past, Jinger Duggar, who was the first Duggar female to wear pants, also opted to dye her hair a daring shade of blonde.
Jill Duggar also pierced her nose, and a few of Jim Bob and Michelle’s children are even watching cable television, much to their parent’s disappointment.
However, Duggar fans state that there are worse things some of the Duggars could be doing. Fans also feel that it may be time for Jim Bob to stop with the strict rules.
