Counting On stars Jessa Duggar Seewald and Ben Seewald struggled to pick a name for baby #4. They are already parents to three kids. But, it seems like picking out a name doesn’t get any easier.
Counting On: Jessa Duggar Seewald Prepares to Give Birth
Jessa Duggar Seewald gave fans an inside look into her pregnancy journey. The Counting On celeb revealed that she started to have contractions over a week before her due date. However, at the time, they weren’t too painful, and they eventually went away. So, Jessa held off on visiting the hospital. But, she did get her hospital bag packed. She also had her kids’ bags ready to go in case they had to go to their grandparents’ house.

The Counting On reality star knew it was too early for her to go into labor. Jessa Duggar had given birth to her boys five days late. However, she did give birth to her daughter over a week early. So, Jessa said that “you just never know.” But, she only wanted to visit the hospital when the contractions are closer together and more painful.
Jessa Duggar decided to take it easy for the night and not to push anything. She planned to go for a walk in the morning to see if she can “get things moving again.” But, it seems like the walk didn’t help since Jessa still felt good a couple of days later.
Jessa & Ben Seewald Can’t Pick a Name
Jessa Duggar and Ben Seewald waited until their baby was born to find out the gender. So, when it came to picking a name, the Counting On duo had to have one for a girl and one for a boy. But, deciding on a name wasn’t easy for them. According to Jessa, she and her husband sat on a few names for months. She felt that the more kids she has, the more she uses up the names she likes.
However, Jessa Duggar Seewald from Counting On felt that every time she and Ben Seewald would settle on a name, they would change their minds later. They also had some that one of them liked, but the other didn’t. She said it was a struggle picking the name. Yet, picking the middle name was another challenge. Jessa said that they had a few to choose from.
Having a hard time picking a name is nothing new for Jessa Duggar and Ben Seewald. It took them five days to name their first and second born. And, when it came to their youngest, Jessa said they picked it the day she was born.
Counting On Couple Welcomes Baby #4
A day after Jessa Duggar Seewald’s due date, she started having painful contractions early in the morning. She felt them in her back, so she knew it was the “real deal.” According to the TLC star, the previous contractions were a dull pain in her stomach. But, when the pain moved to her back, she knew she was closer to giving birth. However, Jessa didn’t want to go to the hospital too early and then have the contractions “fade out.” She decided to hold out on going.
Later that day, the Counting On cast member started to have contractions three minutes apart. Jessa Duggar felt that it was time to go. So, she and Ben Seewald went to the hospital to welcome the newest addition to their family. They had a baby girl named Fern Elliana Seewald. Baby Fern was born on July 18 and weighed 8lbs and 5oz.
