‘Counting On’: Jessa Duggar & Ben Seewald Create Cute Family Tradition

Counting On‘s Jessa Duggar Seewald and Ben Seewald are creating their own family traditions. During the quarantine, they couldn’t get together with the family, so it probably made it a little easier to start their own without being too busy with Duggar traditions.

Counting On: Ben Seewald & Jessa Duggar Enjoy Family Fun

Jessa Duggar Seewald and her husband, Ben Seewald, have done a lot of neat things with their Counting On kids lately. From their grub hunt to their outdoor picnics. The family is doing their best to enjoy the time of the quarantine.

A lot of the things Jessa and her family do are simple activities. Ben works for Jim Bob Duggar and the family as a tutor, so he doesn’t have to go anywhere for work. Since the Counting On family is doing social distancing, Ben Seewald can communicate through video chat.

While the quarantine has been difficult on the Counting On group, it seems like Jessa Duggar is doing her best to stay positive. She and Ben Seewald have a nice backyard where the kids can play. And they did a lot of fun things to keep them busy throughout the summer.

Jessa & Ben Seewald Teach Kids Hymns

The tradition Ben and his wife Jessa do with the kids is to teach them a new hymn each month. Ben said, “They enjoy taking turns flipping through the book and picking out our next selection.” And this month, Spurgeon Seewald got to choose.

Counting On star Spurgeon chose to learn, “Wonderful Grace of Jesus,” for his hymn choice. Ben said it’s a wonderful song with rich lyrics. And fans commented that Jessa and her sweetheart Ben were doing something very cool for the boys—and for Ivy—as soon as she understands.

Having a little sister does seem to be a lot of work for the boys. But they look like they enjoy their time with their little sister. Despite the fact that all five of them live in close quarters in a two-bedroom home, they all look very happy.

Counting On: Children Want to See Family

During one of the episodes of the new season, the family came to see Ivy Seewald. Ivy was learning to walk, and the family looked at her through the windows. Fans of Counting On pointed out that this is very different than what people see in real-time.

There are still recommendations of social distancing, and Jessa Duggar recently had Ivy’s first birthday at her parent’s house. At this point, people don’t care as much if people break the quarantine rules. But they wonder why the Duggars act like they don’t see each other on the TLC show.

Whatever the case, fans are happy to see the new babies on Counting On. And it seems like the kids that wanted to hang out with their family won out over quarantine.
