Bold and the Beautiful: Li Finnegan Mystery Tops 5 Predictions for Next Week
Bold and the Beautiful predictions put Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) sparking a mystery when she hits town next week on the CBS soap. Her anger could carry her in a few different ways.
B&B spoilers say Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) looks to Li for closure. But one prediction suggests she doesn’t get the closure she needs.
#1 Bold and the Beautiful Predictions: Li Finnegan Unsettling?
Li Finnegan came to town shortly after the shooting that left Finn dead. John Finnegan’s (Tanner Novlan) final arrangements became a mystery once Li stepped in.
She refused Sheila Carter’s (Kimberlin Brown) request to view Finn’s body one last time on Bold and the Beautiful. This sparked the fan theories that Finn is not dead, so there isn’t a body to view.
This seemed odd to Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen), who was privy to Li denying Sheila’s request. But Li Finnegan walked into the hospital only to find Sheila amid the Forrester family.
She despises Sheila so this could explain her quick mood change toward the Forresters. But does it continue this week on B&B when she meets with her daughter-in-law?
Li’s hatred comes from finding out Finn is the result of Jack Finnegan’s (Ted King) affair with Sheila. So her mood was not warm towards the Forresters who seemed to welcome Sheila’s presence at the time.
#2 B&B Predictions: Li Stuns Steffy Forrester
Steffy is unaware of what transpired in the first meeting her parents had with Li since the tragedy. She was still in a coma when this adoptive mom met with Taylor and Ridge in the hospital corridor.
Taylor went to bat for Sheila during that Bold and the Beautiful episode. This seemed to turn Li’s angst towards her and Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) at the time. She told them Finn is dead to all the Forresters who could do nothing for him now.
So, Steffy expects to find some closure with the woman Finn considered his only mom. But it looks like things might not go as planned for her.
#3 Bold and the Beautiful Predictions: Shooter is Not a Surprise?
For the sake of Steffy, let’s hope that her husband’s adoptive mother settled down since her last visit to the Forresters. B&B spoilers say she finds out from Steffy that Sheila is the shooter.
Too many unanswered questions swirl around Finn’s death. Starting with what seems to be a shoddy job done by Lt. Baker (Dan Martin). This intelligent cop dropped the ball by not investigating the restaurant’s employees.
If he had interviewed them he would have known that Steffy chased Sheila into the alley that night. The waitstaff was right there as they exited the building. That episode from Bold and the Beautiful showed a young man cleaning a table and within earshot.
So, with that said, Baker had to know that Sheila pulled the trigger. But why would he keep this under wraps?
#4 B&B Prediction: Li Finnegan’s Hatred Comes from Somewhere Else?
The first time Li showed up at the hospital, her appearance of hatred towards Sheila could have stemmed from her husband’s affair. But it could be more than that.
She might have looked at Sheila with that hatred because she knew Sheila was the shooter. And — she might have learned that from her son if Finn is still alive on B&B.
This would also mean there’s more to this shooting than meets the eye. Jack Finnegan is missing from this entire Bold and the Beautiful storyline.
As Finn’s father, you would expect him to want to get to the bottom of the shooting. But he never showed up. So this also adds to this mysterious death. If Finn is alive, he wouldn’t stay away from Steffy. Unless he’s too injured to contact her.
#5 Bold and the Beautiful Prediction: It’s Not Over
Li Finnegan might not offer closure to her daughter-in-law anytime soon. But clues are set to drop on B&B this week. Bold and the Beautiful could throw a real twist into Li Finnegan’s visit. Since this is a soap, there’s so much more they can do with this storyline.

But this is B&B, so there’s always a chance Finn is just dead. Then all the closure Li might have for her son’s wife is that he is now buried in the family plot. One thing is for sure, Naomi gives this role her all and it shows. She’s nominated for her first Emmy.
Still, the storyline could have Li showing up as only a grieving mom without a hidden agenda. Then she might bond with her daughter-in-law over their shared grief. Then again, this adoptive mom might even be out for revenge.
Fans don’t know enough about her yet to predict just how far she may go. She could end up in a dark place and go after Sheila from behind the bars by hiring someone. If so, she wouldn’t be the first professional on B&B to go off the deep end over a tragedy.
But there are still so many loose ends to the shooting. Plus it looks like Li Finnegan knows more than she lets on when she’s back next week on the CBS soap.
