‘Bold and the Beautiful’: Is Jack Finnegan Sinister – What Line Of Work Is He In?

Bold and the Beautiful introduced Jack Finnegan (Ted King) last week as John “Finn” Finnegan‘s (Tanner Novlan) father but this guy already looks shifty on the CBS soap. You would think Finn would know if his father leans toward the sinister side of life. But this son sings praises about the man who raised him. So, what’s up with this guy who Finn knows as his adopted father, Jack Finnegan?

Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Is Jack Finnegan An Unscrupulous Fella?

As Jack Finnegan’s wrapper comes off, the guy is looking shady. Bold and the Beautiful spoilers revealed Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) as the birth mother. The next B&B spoiler points to Jack as the hot doc’s biological father.

Finn himself told Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) that he knows nothing about his biological parents. But unbeknownst to him, he is extremely well acquainted with his bio-dad. And soon, he meets Sheila, his birth mother. She’s a dangerous and criminally insane woman, as fans well know, on Bold and the Beautiful.

Sheila Carter’s backstory includes horrific crimes, such as murder and kidnapping. She’s been jailed and institutionalized, so most people would shiver to find out they share her DNA. This also might explain why Jack Finnegan kept the identity of his birth story from his son.

So far, just enough hints dropped on Bold and the Beautiful to assume Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) is unaware of Sheila and also unaware of Jack’s involvement with her. It all sounds very sketchy but maybe Jack isn’t as bad as he looks so far.

B&B Spoilers: Not So Sinister On Upcoming Episodes – Good Guy After All?  

Right now, on Bold and the Beautiful, Jack Finnegan looks like a guy who doesn’t play on the up and up. Finn grew up not knowing anything about his origin while Jack kept this huge secret quiet. It also looks as if Jack Finnegan kept this from his wife as well. But what if he had a reason for this?

Maybe Finn isn’t the result of his father having a fling with Sheila. Maybe when Li and Jack decided to adopt, they learned it could be years before that happened. With that said, it is very obvious Jack loves his wife. His son seems to believe that is the case as well from the way he describes his parents and their loving home.

So, it’s possible Jack wanted Li to have that child she wanted. Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say this adoption took place when Li decided she wanted a child after years in her busy career. Maybe there was a reason she couldn’t have a baby of her own. But anyway decades ago, she and Jack wanted to adopt a child.

So, without having an affair with Sheila, perhaps Jack hired her to become pregnant through artificial insemination. Everyone knows Sheila is the master manipulator. Maybe during one of her times on the lam, she played the part of a woman in a position to provide this service.

Then it’s possible Jack discovered how crazed she really was. But maybe by that time, it was too late – as Finn was already on the way. This Bold and the Beautiful theory would suggest Jack Finnegan was duped by the woman who’s fooled so many others in the past as well. It would also put him in a better light as Finn’s father and Li’s husband.

Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Not a Doctor?

While Finn’s mom, Li, is a surgeon and a well-respected doctor in her field, it seems his father doesn’t practice medicine. If he does, then Jack has to feel very left out as Finn credits his mother for his career choice. So, it is probably safe to rule out this guy being a doctor. But it’s easy to see he thinks the world of both parents.

So far on Bold and the Beautiful, Jack’s career hasn’t come up. In fact, as time went on, Jack started to look like a very mysterious man. A few hints surfaced via some of the things he said as well as his behavior that may suggest what career he’s in.

B&B Spoilers: What Does Jack Finnegan Do For A Living?

It seems that Bold and the Beautiful has worked on Jack Finnegan’s script so far to make this guy look like a man of mystery. His behavior leads viewers to believe he’s shady, especial now that the spoilers ripped open his secret.

Jack may be a lawyer. That would have put him in an excellent position to manipulate an adoption years ago. Both Jack and Li Finnegan adopted Finn. He must not appear on the birth certificate as his birth father or Finn would know that by now.

So, if Jack is a lawyer, he would have had the knowledge and ability to manipulate the adoption. The birth certificate would have needed a tweak if he was in fact the biological father and didn’t want that on record.

Some of the Bold and the Beautiful fans see Jack as a little rough around the edges. So, if it does surface that he’s possibly in waste management and lives a life similar to Tony Soprano on The Sopranos, it won’t come as too much of a surprise.

Maybe Jack Finnegan is a politician. But if that’s the case he’s facing a career jolt if this Sheila Carter story gets out with him as the bio-dad. If he is a long-term politician, this too could have helped with adopting a baby years ago. He’d know the right people for a coverup.

Soon, Bold and the Beautiful spoilers suggest fans learn more about John Finnegan’s parents in upcoming episodes. But right now, Jack Finnegan could be anything from an airline pilot to an underwater basket weaver on this CBS soap.
