‘Bold and the Beautiful’: 5 Reasons Bill Spencer Should be Celibate for a While
Bold and the Beautiful spoilers confirm Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) has some of the first scenes as the CBS soap returns to new episodes. But, what’s he doing and with whom? We’re wondering if the B&B writers shouldn’t put Dollar Bill on a relationship time-out. Here’s why.
#1 Bill Spencer Torments Katie on Bold and the Beautiful
Spoilers know the cliffhanger with Bill Spencer and Katie Logan (Heather Tom) needs resolution. Often, Katie’s weak about him and takes him back when he doesn’t deserve to be in her life. Fingers crossed that this time Katie throws Bill Spencer out lock, stock, and barrel.
They can co-parent on Bold and the Beautiful – but Katie needs to protect her fragile heart. Maybe Bill should take a time-out on relationships and think about what and who he wants. It could be that Katie’s his soul mate. But she doesn’t deserve the way he treats her.
#2 He Also Devastated his Son on B&B with the Steffy Fling
Remember on Bold and the Beautiful — Bill Spencer totally crushed Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) by sleeping with Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood). Granted, Bill met her first, and they had a fling back in the day. Since then, Steffy’s been married to both his oldest sons.
It wasn’t just that he had a thing for her on Bold and the Beautiful. It was the icky things he did. Bill Spencer set up sketchy scenes to trick Liam. Really – wasn’t he just as devious as Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson)? Maybe both those men need professional help for their obsessive behavior.
#3 Brooke Obsession Needs to Die Down?
A glaring issue for Bill on Bold and the Beautiful is the fact that he’s got no self-control where Brooke Logan’s (Katherine Kelly Lang) concerned. These two either need to get together (and stay there) – or walk away for good. Brooke’s inability to stop hooking up with Bill is rather like her alcoholism.
It’s an unhealthy addiction on Bold and the Beautiful. This time, it cost Brooke her marriage since her hubby wed another woman. So, perhaps Bill Spencer needs to be celibate for a while and do more thinking than acting. Then, he can sort out his life where Brooke’s concerned too.
#4 Dollar Bill’s Incapable of Self Control on Bold and the Beautiful
History of the CBS sudser reminds us that Bill Spencer has zero self-control in his love life. If it were left to Bill’s whims, he’d probably bounced from bed to bed. He’d go from Katie to Brooke to Steffy then back around. He’s the worst sort of waffler. Maybe that’s why his sons are too.
Bold and the Beautiful could send Bill off to an ashram to meditate and find more profound meaning and purpose in his life. And that would work with the social distance requirements for B&B. Of course, if Bill got his head together and kept his pants zipped, the spice might leave the soap…
#5 Justin Needs Screen Time – Send Bill on Sabbatical on B&B
Another reason for Bold and the Beautiful to write a sabbatical for Bill Spencer is to give Justin Barber (Aaron D. Spears) more screen time. It would be nice to see his second-in-command at the helm of Spencer Publications. As bad as Bill is with his love life, he’s obsessive in business too. So, why not put Justin in charge?
Remember him blowing up Liam and Sally because he’d fixated on building his beloved Skye on Bold and the Beautiful? So, there’s a lot of good reasons for the CBS sudser to put Bill Spencer in time-out. Would B&B do it or will writers keep him as a destroyer of lives? Wait and see.
