Ashland Locke Collapses at the Altar on ‘Young and the Restless’?
Young and the Restless spoilers hint Ashland Locke‘s (Richard Burgi) health might interrupt the big wedding at the palazzo. Billy witnessed a coughing spell that prompted him to ask Ashland if he should call a doctor. But the groom-to-be insists he just needed a glass of water. Victoria also saw an episode that caused concern. However, every time Ash replies that he is fine. But Young and the Restless spoilers wonder if he may collapse at the altar? That could wreck everything on Y&R.
Dr. Nate Hastings as Best Man Makes Sense on Y&R
It seemed random that Ashland Locke asked hunky doctor Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) to be his best man. The men hardly know each other. However, if the groom were to have a significant health problem on his wedding day, it would be helpful to have the doctor there for Ashland Locke on Young and the Restless.

Young and the Restless wonder if Nate comes to the rescue on the big day. He is a renowned surgeon and is currently the Chief of Surgery at GCMH. So he is the guy you want around if there is a medical emergency. With Ashland suffering from advanced lung cancer, Nate’s the perfect guy to have at his side.
Ashland’s been going through rigorous treatment that includes chemotherapy. The New Yorker handled his condition well. However, stress can cause increased symptoms. And the stress has been high for Ashland Locke. He wasn’t even sure if there would be a wedding a few days ago because of his secretive past.
Ashland’s Stress Runs High on Young and the Restless Wedding Day
Ashland has finally come clean with Victoria. She now knows all of his secrets. Even so, she still loves the businessman. However, several unknowns remain on Young and the Restless. Currently, it seems Billy has been neutralized. But he’s not going away. And he could be the indirect reason for Ashland’s collapse – if it happens.
Billy is still not happy about the upcoming nuptials. But it seems he has accepted that his ex-wife has moved on and is happy. However, Jesse Gaines (Jamison Jones) is still a wild card. He wants revenge against the groom. Jesse blames Ashland Locke for his father’s lack of attention growing up. So, it seems likely Jesse’s the trigger for what happens.
Jesse has already appeared at the venue uninvited once. He promised to be back. So, Ashland Locke will worry that the ex-lawyer could show up and make a scene. There will be significant consequences for Ash if the world learns his past mistakes Young and the Restless.
