‘Alaskan Bush People’: Bear Brown Forages for Food in Restaurants These Days
Alaskan Bush People star Bear Brown looks like he’s traded foraging for food in the wilderness for a quiet restaurant table for two. It wasn’t all that long ago when fans believed the members of the wolfpack didn’t see much of the outside world. But the jig is up today.
Alaskan Bush People: Seems Bear Brown Hunts for Dinner in More Ways Than One
Gone are the days of Alaskan Bush People demonstrating mushroom gathering and finding snails as their only means of nutrition. It seems like they still like to do things the old way from time to time, especially as the Discovery Channel cameras roll.
The new season started and viewers of the show got a little bit of both worlds out of the Alaskan Bush People. While they hunted for pheasant, fans learned without success during this hunt, they’d have nothing for their big get-together dinner. That’s a far cry from what Bear Brown is doing these days. His latest post has him with Raiven Adams at a restaurant.
From Firing Shotguns to Opening the Wallet
While Bear Brown bagged several birds in a rather gory scene, that was months ago. It seems when the cameras aren’t rolling, the gun gets put away and their ammunition for capturing dinner is money.
Bear Brown’s latest home for the sake of the Alaskan Bush People show consists of side-by-side shipping containers. Maybe that’s called a double-wide container much like the double-wide trailers in a trailer park.
While his home started out in life as a couple of shipping containers, it ended up looking like a nightmare. With so many fake animal prints and quilting designs inside it’s almost an insult to the eyes. He decked it out with all the comforts of home. Or as much as you can get up a remote mountain in the winter months.
Alaskan Bush People: Raiven Adams and Bear Exchange Gifts
Bear and Raiven might be hitting up restaurants for dinner instead of eating what they shoot with a gun or pluck from the Alaskan Bush People land. But they still make little gifts for one another, much like the folks from Little House on the Prairie did.
The couple recently posted photos of their creations to share with fans after they presented the gifts to one another. It looks like Raiven carved Bear’s name into a stick. It comes to a point resembling a large pencil. But it could be some sort of a spear.
Bear made a terrarium for his new love interest. He took a discarded water or soda bottle and put a flower inside. Both Raiven and Bear were quite smitten with their gifts, much like they seem to be with each other.
Be sure to watch the new episodes of Alaskan Bush People on the Discovery Channel at 9 pm ET Sunday nights.
