90 Day Fiance: Yara Zaya Moves to America

90 Day Fiance couple Yara Zaya and Jovi Dufren quickly made their way to the top of many people’s favorites list in 2020 when they were on Season 8 of the show. Yara made a move to America to live with the love of her life, but it wasn’t until she was already in the United States that people learned she did not really want to be there. She constantly talks about how she would rather live somewhere else and especially not in New Orleans, Louisiana.

She says it is very dangerous there. Yara tells Gwen Eymard that she feels like when she walks down the street, she can’t look away from baby Mylah Dufren without fearing someone will kidnap her. Many people are excited to move to the US when they get approved for their Visa but it was never even a thought in Yara’s mind to move there before she met Jovi.

TLC Star Shares Big Dreams

90 Day Fiance shows Yara Zaya, who is currently living out her fashion dreams, running her own clothing brand. She has big dreams like living in Paris. And that makes sense seeing as it’s one of the fashion capitals of the world. Yara met Jovi Dufren while traveling abroad, and she says it’s something she has always loved doing. She spent time doing this with Jovi before they both settled down in a one-bedroom apartment in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Jovi has no plans of leaving the country, let alone the state. He adores the get-up-and-go life that comes along with living in the city and doesn’t want to change that lifestyle. But Yara is ready to slow things down now that she has a baby. Not only this, but with Jovi leaving for work months at a time, it makes it hard to be alone.

90 Day Fiance: Time to Move Yara Zaya

Jovi Dufren informs 90 Day Fiance’s Yara Zaya that they have to move out of their apartment. Jovi had planned to be home for this, but his work is making him stay through the end of the lease due to COIVD-19. This put all the responsibility in Yara’s hands when it came to finding a new place to live. Of course, she was upset to find out her husband will not be home for a while, but it means she gets to decide where they set up camp for the next year.

She says she is excited to move out of New Orleans, but Jovi says that he likes living there. Yara is quick and tells him, “Who cares what you like?” With this, she takes control of moving and says she will decide where they will live next. She says she understands what Jovi wants, but she doesn’t care. Yara Zaya wants to find a place where she feels safe, and she will do this outside of New Orleans.

Finally, they will have a room for themselves and a separate room for Mylah Dufren.
