90 Day Fiance has Yara Zaya and Jovi Dufren trying to figure out being newlyweds and new parents. Many fans had opinions of Yara from the start, and so did Jovi’s Mom. Gwen Eymard thought that maybe Yara was only in the US and marrying her son so she could get a Green Card. But Yara shares that is far from the truth.
Over time Gwen learns that she really is there to just be happy and in love with Jovi. But she never tried to make Yara feel unwelcome. Fans thought the mom and daughter-in-law pair didn’t really like each other. After all, this is common for other 90 Day Fiance couples. It can start nice and sweet but turn sour. Couples like Brett Otto and Daya De Arce learned this the hard way. So did Mike Youngquist and Natalie Mordovtseva. Fans were guessing that this was where Jovi and Yara were heading.

90 Day Fiance’s Yara Zaya is dealing with the struggles of being a new parent. Fans noticed that she had issues when Gwen Eymard came to town because she kept giving advice with baby Mylah Dufren. Yara says she found it annoying and that she didn’t need help. Jovi Dufren mentions how hard it is to be a good dad when his wife wants to do it all herself. So he stands up for his mom and says that Gwen is only trying to help.

Yara has an attachment to Mylah that many fans find sweet but a little overprotective. And her demeanor can sometimes come across as a bit blunt, as some fans point out. But many people side with her, saying that she is the mother, so what she says goes. Jovi hopes Yara can relax a bit with the baby so they can go on a proper honeymoon. But right now, they have to worry about Jovi leaving for work and being away for a few months.

However, she doesn’t like to get the help she hasn’t asked for. So when Jovi leaves for work and is she is taken to Gwen Eymard’s house, she says she wants to leave after only a few days. Gwen disagreed and says it’s okay to ask for help sometimes. But Yara insisted she wanted to go back to her apartment in New Orleans.
So Gwen took Yara and Mylah home anyways, and this was hard for her. This made some fans think that, again, Yara did not like Gwen. But she says that she just wants to be able to show everyone she can handle everything on her own. Sadly Yara did test positive for COVID-19 and had to go back to Gwen’s house. And she took her back no questions asked. Fans said Yara was being ungrateful for what Jovi’s mom was doing for her.

Yara Zaya from 90 Day Fiance is quick to let fans know what she really thinks of Gwen Eymard. With all these negative thoughts being shared between fans, she wants to set the record straight. And she shares a pic of her with her mother-in-law and tells the world, “Before ya’ll jump on me. I just want to say Gwen are my best friend.” This shows that if there ever was bad blood between the pair, it’s squashed now.
Gwen happens to be one of the most loved mom’s on the show, whose son is a bit of a mama’s boy. Jovi Dufren and Yara Zaya have moved their way up to one of the most favorite couples of the show, and fans are excited to see their journey.
