If you watched part 1 of the 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way Tell-All, you saw that Paul Staehle got out of the SUV alone that dropped him off at the location to film. Then, Paul said he was there alone. But that’s all misdirection. In fact, Karine Martins was there, but she wasn’t shown on camera. Baby Pierre Staehle was too, according to our source. So, why all the chicanery? Reportedly, Karine Martins has postpartum depression.
So, she wasn’t up to being filmed and TLC decided to keep her out of sight. The leaker told us lots of hot tea – including that there was a shrink on set, that Corey Rathgeber broke down backstage, and Aladin Jallali going off on Laura. The info on Karine was part of lots of tea spilled on the 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way Tell All. But, it’s clear that the show went to great lengths to hide Karine and only show Paul Staehle.
Plus, our insider said that Paul’s mom Mary Staehle got booted from her segment when she mentioned Karine Martins. So mama Staehle’s only got a few moments on the Tell-All couch because she almost wrecked the ruse.
TLC Frauding – Paul Staehle Told to Lie About Karine Martins?
Longtime fans of 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way and the other TLC franchises know that production takes a heavy hand at times with editing. There’s lots of incidents leaked of scripted scenes and lines being fed to cast – plus multiple takes of long scenes. That way, they have tons of footage to edit together for drama that’s far less than the reality of the relationships. But these scenes with Paul Staehle are more.
It’s obvious he was told to act like Karine’s not there with him. They filmed Paul getting out of the car alone and heading into the building alone. Then, they had Paul going down the hall and joking about the fire alarm. TLC even had Paul Staehle outright fib about his wife not being there. Why else would he have said she was not? Reality show players don’t decide this stuff on 90 Day Fiance, right?
Karine Martins Seems Better Now – Needed Counseling at 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way Tell All
As shared on a recent video, the 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way couple seems happy together at a recent Halloween outing. But just weeks ago, Karine Martins was talking divorce. Now, the set source clarified some of what’s going on. It appears the young mother’s suffering postpartum depression. Now, with Pierre a bit older, it looks like she may be in much better shape and happy with Paul Staehle.
However, our 90 Day Fiance leaker said TLC brought in a therapist since the network planned to push their buttons and blindside the cast. So, Karine Martins reportedly spent time talking to the mental health professional in addition to avoiding the cameras. Other cast members that sat down with the shrink reportedly included Laura Jallali and Corey Rathgeber. So, it wasn’t just Karine.
But having Paul Staehle do scenes pretending his wife wasn’t there seems like extreme TLC fakery. But by now, fans should expect it… Part 2 of the Tell All airs this week and then get ready for a regular season of the hot mess reality show starting Sunday, November 3.
