On 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way, Deavan Clegg and baby Taeyang Lee make the long journey to South Korea to meet baby daddy Jihoon Lee. But she found Jihoon an hour late and a place to live short. Jenny Slatten’s daughter grills Sumit over an awkward dinner. Ronald Smith flips his lid and Tiffany Franco wants to pack it up. Karine Martins goes into labor and kicks Paul Staehle out of the delivery room. This episode shows when Corey Rathgeber finds out that his dad passed unexpectedly. Season 1 episode 14 Walking a Tightrope is dedicated to the memory of Gary Rathgeber. 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way airs Monday nights at 9 on TLC.

Jihoon Lee Admits He’s Still a Childish Boy Despite Being a Dad – 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way Recap

Deavan Clegg is on the way to South Korea with baby Taeyang Lee on 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way. She has left everything behind including daughter Drascilla. She’s hoping that Jihoon Lee made good on his promises to find a job and get them a place to live. If all goes well Drascilla will join them soon.

Deavan is weary and feels she’s been carrying the load alone. She finally lands and Jihoon is nowhere in sightbecause he’s freaking over a car seat for baby Taeyang. It hasn’t arrived so his parents suggest that he carry the kid around in hand just this one time. But Jihoon knows that would not sit well with Deavan Clegg . So, Jihoon heads out to buy another knowing he’s already going to be late.

Then, his dad calls and says the car seat arrived at the house. So Jihoon turns around, making him an hour late to pick up Deavan Clegg and baby Taeyang. Jihoon Lee finally makes it to the airport with his adorable doggie in tow. Deavan demands to know why he is late on 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way. He explains he was getting a car seat. But Deavan already has a car seat. Jihoon is scared to tell her he hasn’t found them a place to live.

So, they’re at his parent’s house for a couple of months. She is upset, and questions him about his job which he can only say is in “delivery”. While the grandparents are thrilled to have them, Jihoon’s mom agrees that because he is 30, he needs to move out. Jihoon is hiding something about his financial past. So, it doesn’t look too promising.

Why Won’t Sumit Commit to Jenny Slatten?

On 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way, Jenny Slatten was surprised with a visit from her daughter Christina and her wife, Jen. The four go out to dinner. Sumit launches into how much he cares for Jenny. And that he wants to spend the rest of his life with her. That said, Christina wants to know why he keeps abandoning her to stay at his parents. Sumit explains that he wants to… but it will start a big drama. He brings up the “ring ceremony” he is planning.

That will make them engaged. But, he admits nobody from his family will be there. Because if they were and got upset about it, he’d have to break it off with Jenny. Of course this doesn’t sit well with Christina. And she tells him that he’s not a strong man. She says he needs to face his parents and tell them the truth. As she did when she came out as gay to Jenny. She says it took her mom a few months, but she realized she didn’t want to lose her daughter. On 90 Day Fiance,Sumit says he won’t leave Jenny. But admits he’s not being completely honest. And he’s got a secret he’s been keeping.

Karine Goes Into Labor on 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way

Paul Staehle phones home to mom for advice. It seems Karine Martins had enough. She wants a divorce. The couple is about to have a baby. Paul’s mom encourages him to stay put. Especially since Paul got his temporary residence visa approved in Brazil. So, he could work now to support them. Paul’s mom says she’d like to come visit. But that he needs to get all the drama handled first. Good luck with that Mother Paul since it seems your son’s life has been one big drama since he came out of the womb.

Later, Karine’s water breaks. Paul rushes to the hospital. Karine tells him she doesn’t want him around for the birth. But she sends him to grab her some stuffed animals, a pink sports bra and a bag of Sour Patch Kids from her hoarder’s paradise. Oh and charge up her phone so she can keep up with all the messages she gets from other guys while waiting to give birth to his baby on 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way.

Ronald’s Road Rage

On 90 Day Fiance: Before The 90 Days, Tiffany Franco is straightening her mane. Hubby and recovering gambling addict Ronald Smith is anxious. He wants to get to the auto parts store before it closes. He’s tapping his foot and asking Tiff how much longer she needs to get ready. She takes her good old-time and agrees to go with him. She doesn’t believe he’s capable of going out on his own because of that gambling addict thing.

Then, Ronald’s driving crazy fast and Tiffany asks him to slow down. He says he can’t slow down. And then asks for his credit card which she keeps frozen in a block of ice in the freezer. Which is no help because Ron has been known to steal an entire fridge. On 90 Day Fiance: Before The 90 Days, Ronald flips when Tiffany reveals she doesn’t have the card. And laughs a little. Ronald puts the pedal to the metal and screams “the inconvenience stops now”. To which Tiffany kindly tells him to shut the eff up. Later Ronald apologizes to a sniveling Tiffany.

Ronald admits to being an a-hole and says he won’t hurt her again. Now what about that credit card? Till next time – The Other Way is on Mondays at 9 PM on TLC.
