On 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way, Jenny Slatten is ready to take on a whole new world as a Hare Krishna in order to stay in India with Sumit Singh. Ellie Rose‘s friends aren’t too happy about her moving to Providencia after Victor McLean‘s infidelity. Steven Johnston is hiding something from Alina. And Kenneth Niedermeier worries that Armando Rubio is going to be a bridezilla as they plan their wedding in Mexico. Let’s take a closer look at Season 3 Episode 2 Testing Trust.

Jenny Tries A New Way To Stay In India On 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way

Jenny Slatten is locked in the bedroom booking a flight to America. She’s fed up and tossed a plastic chair in anger when her visa extension got denied. And even more angry that Sumit Singh won’t just marry her already because his parents disapprove. Sumit asks Jenny to calm down and promises they will find a way for her to stay. But just not as Mrs. Singh anytime soon. Jenny gets a little more time on the extended visa to explore other options.

On 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way, Sumit and Jenny rickshaw over to their lawyer’s office for some more advice. He asks Jenny if she’s ready to give up her American citizenship. Jenny is adamant that this is a big no. She’s worked her whole life for her social security and half price admissions to movie theatres when she visits the U.S. Not to mention her kids and grandchildren. Plus, hot dogs.

The lawyer does suggest a rather unconventional way to stay in India indefinitely. And that means joining ISKCON. At first Jenny wonders if this is like the Indian version of Amway. But Sumit explains that it means joining the Hare Krishna’s. Jenny is open to this. She’s always been fond of their flowy orange robes and finger cymbals when she saw them in airports as a teenager in the 70’s. And it’s much better than being in a pyramid scheme. So she’s game to try it.

Ellie Rose Is Going To Risk It All For Victor

On 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way, Ellie Rose is giving it all up for a chance at love. Her pizza shop, her friends and hot running water. She gathers with friends for a last hurrah at a “friendsgiving”. Armed with wine she comes clean to the rest of her friends about moving to Providencia. Everyone is kind of surprised. Because they know Victor McLean cheated in the past. Her friends begin questioning her about the financial side of the relationship.

Ellie admits that she’s definitely more invested when it comes to cold hard cash. And that she’s coughed up at least 5 grand so Victor can fix up the house they will live in. Which in her words is basic and lacking simple comforts like hot running water. She also admits that he had a domestic violence charge against him years ago. The person who filed against him is also the mother of his daughter.

Ellie is okay with what happened because she explains that it was a crime of passion. Victor supposedly walked in on her with another dude. While her friends just see red flags, Ellie defends her choice on 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way. Her friends suggest a background check but Ellie isn’t game. Later she talks to Victor on video chat just before the hurricane hits Providencia. Next week Ellie flies to Providencia to try and find Victor after the storm.

Steven’s Got A Secret on 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way

Steven Johnston is ready to pack up to move to Turkey with his fiancé Alina who lives in Russia. He heads to work to pick up his last paycheck. Steven is alright with leaving his job behind. He solicited door to door for a pest control company. But is ethically opposed to killing bugs after seeing ants carrying away their dead compadres after their nest was wrecked. His bug boss however thinks he’s crazy to leave an awesome job for a chance at love.

On 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way, Alina is tying up loose ends in Russia. Her mother isn’t happy that her daughter is off to another country with a card carrying member of the Latter-day Saints. She’s googled The Book of Mormon and nearly spit out her borscht when she discovered they are involved in multiple international scandals involving organ harvesting while at the same time receiving multiple tony award nominations.

Even Alina’s friends think she’s nuts for agreeing to hold off on sleeping with Steven before they are actually married. Steven is busy booking separate Turkish Airbnb’s to be sure that doesn’t happen. Alina isn’t down with this idea at all. But what makes it even worse is that Steven hasn’t admitted that he is no longer a virgin. It seems in between knocking on doors to solicit the innocent killing of vermin he’s found time to break a few rules of The Book of Mormon.

Kenny And Armando Plan Their Mexican Wedding

On 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way, Kenny Niedermeier is learning Spanish with his soon to be step-daughter and tutor Hannah Rubio. Hannah is a stickler for pronunciation and calls out Kenny when he botches words. Hannah also helps her pop Armando Rubio check out wedding venues online. Armando wants a big fat Mexican wedding with a few hundred people. While Kenny would like something a bit more quaint.

The couple enlist the help of wedding planners and power couple Carlos and Hugo. Is it just me or do these two need their own TLC show ASAP? Of course there are some concerns about the cultural issues same sex marriages deal with in Mexico. But Carlos and Hugo assure them they are well connected. Because money is good in English and Spanish –  unlike Kenny. Armando starts rattling off big plans and Kenny tells him not to be a bridezilla. What a party pooper. Live a little, Kenny.

Evelin And Corey Clash On 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way

Evelin Villegas once admitted marriage wasn’t her dream at all. But now that she’s committed to a date is she going to take the title of Season 3 bridezilla away from Armando Rubio? Evelin has hired the top wedding planner of all of Ecuador. She even planned the wedding of a Victoria’s Secret angel. Cory and Evelin have been buying up beachfront property in Engabao. So naturally they want to say I do on their own sandy oasis.

On 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way, this wedding planner says it’s a no go. There is no electricity, no place for a proper cocktail hour or a decent dance floor. She’s got a binder full of better ideas that come at a hefty price. Cory feels ambushed when he finds out the wedding of Evelin’s dreams could set him back 25 to 50 grand. He can’t seem to wrap his head around this and reminds us Evelin is from a third world country.

Ariela Glows Up For Her Ex

Ariela Weinberg is feeling cute in her short leopard dress and heels on 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way. It’s a big day after all. Her ex-husband Leandro is officially out of quarantine and ready to shack up at her house. Biniyam Shibre notices his wife’s extra efforts and it makes him a little nervous. Especially when he sees that she’s not wearing her wedding ring while getting a few nails repaired. Ariela says it wasn’t intentional but he runs home to fetch it nonetheless.

Biniyam is weary when he sees the connection between his wife and her ex. He’s going to keep a close eye on things. He feels even more slighted when baby Avi is comfortable in Leandro’s arms. But it’s nothing compared to when Leandro opens a suitcase full of gifts for Ariela and Avi. Including some rather basic bras which Ari specifically asked for. It seems Biniyam is worried these two will “rekindle their love”. Ahh, till next time!
