Steven Johnston is currently sharing his love story on the new season of 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way. He and his Russian girlfriend, Alina, met on a language app. They decide to move to Turkey since the pandemic closed the Russian borders. However, the visitor visa only lasts for 90 days. So, Steven and Alina plan to get married within those three months so they can apply for a spousal visa and go to Russia together.

In the upcoming episode of 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way, Steven Johnston goes to his friend’s house to share some news about his relationship with Alina. His friends are aware that his decision to move to Turkey was very sudden. But, there is a certain detail about the plan that his friends don’t know about. Steven tells his pals that to stay with Alina, he has to marry her.

Steven’s Friends Share Concerns

Steven Johnston’s friend, Jordan, feels it’s “crazy news” to drop on them. He thought the 90 Day Fiance member invited them over to play games. Steven’s other friend, Matt, thinks that the TLC star is a “lovable odd duckling.” However, Jordan then says that Steven is an adventurous guy. In the past, Steven has been “slow to commit” with a lot of his relationships. 

The 90 Day Fiance reality star also feels that there are parts of his dating history that the Mormon church does not endorse. Steven isn’t proud of the things he’s done, and it is something he wants to share with Alina in person. However, he is afraid that when she finds out, it will be “devastating.”

Steven Johnston is willing to commit and give up everything for Alina. The 90 Day Fiance newcomer hopes that they can “lay a foundation of trust and faith.” But, his friends don’t think he has to marry her to prove anything. They don’t want him to rush into marriage. They believe that he should wait a bit and keep talking to her. However, Steven is willing to take the risk even if it doesn’t make sense to other people.
