90 Day Fiance: Jenny Slatten & Sumit Singh Grow Weary
Jenny Slatten and Sumit Singh’s relationship have been put through the wringer due to his family’s decision to shun the 90 Day Fiance pair’s marriage.
His family has not made it easy for his wife. However, it has not been for her lack of effort. On the contrary, she has made “every attempt possible” to gain Sumit’s family’s acceptance and blessings.
It has gotten to the point that the Happily Ever After couple is tired of trying. During the TLC season, viewers watched as the pair made one last attempt to gain his family’s respect and approval. Jenny’s daughter Christina Cuevas accompanied her mom and Sumit to the meeting as a backup.
However, nothing anyone said seemed to help sway the family’s opinion. So, she was left with no other alternative but to announce she and Sumit would be moving to the United States.
This is something that upsets her husband. Ultimately, they both agreed they were weary of trying to change his family’s minds about her.
90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After – Will Sumit & Jenny Finally Move to America?
The TLC spouses have had some time to discuss things. In the beginning, Sumit said he had no desire to move to America. But as time passes, the idea appears to grow on him more. He understands his wife misses her daughter and living in the United States.
During the upcoming segment of the 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After Tell-All, Sumit Singh and Jenny Slatten will reveal that a lot has stayed the same.
Most of his family members say they agree with the couple’s marriage. However, one very important and influential person refuses to budge. That is his mother, Sadhna Singh, who keeps Jenny away.
She refuses to accept Jenny and ultimately controls the rest of the family. This makes it impossible for Jenny Slatten to feel welcome or comfortable with her husband’s family.
But she is okay with things. She has thrown in the towel and refuses to spend too much energy dealing with it any longer. She admits she would “rather just stay home.”
So, does this mean as soon as the paperwork is in order and his Visa gets the green light, the 90 Day Fiance couple will be hightailing it to America?
They have not said so yet, but it is not entirely off the table. So, time will tell if he ditches India and settles in the United States, at least part-time.
