His mom was unhappy with the news of her son’s marriage. His mom Sahna has stated that she will never accept Jenny into their family.

When her husband returned inside after seeing his family out to their car Jenny lost it on him. She looked out of control as she began violently lunging at her husband and screaming that he was picking his mother over her.
