David Toborowsky proves Annie Suwan‘s aunt Lom wrong on 90 Day Fiance: After the 90 Days. He gets put to the test to become a monk.

90 Day Fiance: David Toborowsky Gets Eaten by Mosquitos

David Toborowsky is on a journey of becoming a monk on 90 Day Fiance: After the 90 Days. To complete the process, he has to live at the temple for three days. He must do all the tasks of a monk.

However, Annie Suwan’s aunt doesn’t think David will last the three days. Aunt Lom says that he won’t even last the night. So, can the TLC celeb prove his wife’s aunt wrong?

David Toborowsky’s first night at the temple doesn’t go well. The 90 Day Fiance reality star doesn’t get much sleep and wakes up at 4:30 am. He says that the mosquitos were “having a feast” since the windows had no screens. He feels that he was the “main course.”

David Suffers for Food

David Toborowsky is happy it’s the next day because he hasn’t eaten anything since the previous morning and is hungry. But he has to work for his food.

David explains that he must walk around the village and collect food in his basket for him to eat from the villagers. The 90 Day Fiance: After the 90 Days castmate hopes someone puts pork skewers in his basket. And, to his surprise, Annie Suwan does.

When David is outside the temple, he can’t wear shoes. He explains that part of Buddhism is about suffering and “overcoming that with your mind.”

But, since he is not from the area, they bring his shoes along in case he is in pain. However, he is able to push through the pain and complete the task without putting them on.

After eating breakfast, the TLC star must do chores around the temple. As the “newest monk on the block,” he has to clean the bathrooms. And that’s not a job he wants to do. But he does it.

90 Day Fiance: After the 90 Days Celeb Shocks Annie Suwan’s Aunt

David Toborowsky has to learn a chant in Bali Sanskrit for his final ceremony. He explains that it is an “ancient language” spoken through prayers. He only has three days to learn it since he must perform it during the ceremony. So, he is nervous and doesn’t want to let the family and village down.

The following day, Annie Suwan and her family head to the temple to support David during his final ceremony of becoming a monk. Aunt Lom is even there. He was able to prove her wrong. Seeing him complete the three days at the temple makes her see him in a “better way.”

David is able to get through the final ceremony and say the chant he learned. However, the 90 Day Fiance: After the 90 Days celeb doesn’t feel “proud.”

Instead, he feels happy that he completed what he said he would do. But now, he has to prove to Aunt Lom that he can take care of Jordan and Amber in Phuket, Thailand.
