Before the ceremony starts, David has to take all his jewelry off. According to his wife, Annie Suwan, like shaving his head, her husband has to be able to feel happiness without having anything. However, he has no problem taking off his necklace and bracelets.

The monk tells David Toborowsky to follow one important rule. The 90 Day Fiance reality star must prevent his mind from being distracted by “sensual passions.” He must follow this rule and take it seriously. The monk explains that his “good actions” will benefit himself and those around him.
The TLC celeb feels overwhelmed and emotional. He believes that if he can complete this journey, Annie Suwan’s aunt Lom will be proud of him. He also thinks it will help them in their journey of bringing Amber and Jordan to America.

David knows it’s about meditation and living “very basic.” So, will he be able to survive the first night? Annie’s aunt Lom doesn’t have high expectations for the TLC star. She doesn’t think he will last or be able to commit. She feels that he might even leave in the middle of the night.
