Fans first saw Benjamin Taylor on season three of TLC’s 90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days. He took a trip to visit his foreign partner in Kenya. He knew that Akinyi Obala was the one he wanted to spend the rest of his life with. So, Benjamin took the necessary steps to get Akinyi’s family on board with their marriage. In the end, he and Akinyi took their relationship to the next step.

Akinyi Obala from 90 Day Fiance recently revealed one of the struggles she and Benjamin Taylor have as a couple. According to her, they can’t kiss when she has makeup on. When they get that close to each other, her makeup ends up all over his face, especially his nose and lips. Akinyi said that she and Benjamin are “two different shades” and that her makeup doesn’t let her forget it. When they share a kiss, she is reminded that wearing makeup isn’t a good idea when she’s around her husband.
A fan gave Akinyi Obala a tip to help with her intimacy struggles with Benjamin Taylor. They suggested that putting setting spray on her makeup would help solve her struggles when kissing Benjamin. It will help keep the makeup on her face and off of her husband’s.
Benjamin & Akinyi Reunite in America
Akinyi Obala didn’t have a visa when Benjamin Taylor went back to America. So, the 90 Day Fiance cast member couldn’t go back with him. However, the TLC couple applied for the proper visa and have since been reunited. Akinyi is now living with Benjamin in the states and they have started their new life together as a married couple.
The 90 Day Fiance reality stars recently gave fans an update on their lives on the spin-off show Diaries. Benjamin Taylor documented his reunion with Akinyi Obala in America. She is happy to be living with Benjamin in the same country. But, she has one request. She doesn’t want to be intimate with him until after their wedding. She asked him, “If I told you that I don’t want to be intimate until we are married. Would that be okay?” Benjamin doesn’t seem to like that idea.
Benjamin Taylor and Akinyi Obala eventually have their American wedding. For the big day, Benjamin wore a grey suit and a black tie. As for Akinyi, she had on a beautiful wedding dress and a pearl headpiece. And, now, Benjamin is living with Akinyi as husband and wife in Glendale, Arizona.
Fans Happy 90 Day Fiance Couple Are Together
Many fans of the show were happy to see Benjamin Taylor together with Akinyi Obala in America. One person was “glad to see” that the two stayed together and are now living in Arizona. They said seeing Benjamin with Akinyi made their day. Many fans left welcoming messages to Akinyi. They hope that she enjoys living in the states.
Some 90 Day Fiance fans were also speculating that Akinyi Obala could be pregnant. According to a person, she looks like she’s glowing. They said that it might mean she’s welcoming a little one. Another person asked Akinyi if she’s expecting a baby. But, they didn’t get an answer. However, Benjamin Taylor does already have a child from a previous relationship.
