’90 Day Fiance’: 7 Wildest Wedding Dresses

90 Day Fiance couples face all kinds of obstacles before they actually walk down the aisle. Even finding the perfect wedding dress is tough. Especially with meddling families and cultural differences. One thing is for sure the brides who actually tie the knot on the show bring their unique personalities into play when choosing that all-important dress. Here we take a look back at seven of the wildest wedding dresses on the show.

90 Day Fiance: Angela Deem Had The Right Dress and The Wrong Bra

90 Day Fiance fan-favorite, TLC’s Angela Deem finally says I do to Michael Ilesanmi on this season of 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After. The Georgia gal has certainly been through a lot in her journey. And now finds herself ready to marry in Nigeria. She has her hair done and her crown on but realizes her green bra is going to peek out from her wedding dress. But Angie decides to just go with it rather than risk something else going wrong.

Angela’s look for the big day is pretty traditional. She opted for a white dress with a jeweled bodice and off the shoulder sleeves and simple flowing bottom. She carried a custom bouquet of flowers representing the birthstones of her grandchildren. Usually Angela totes some smokes, a lighter, and other sundries in her bra. It looks like she let someone else hold her cache on her wedding day. Michael looked suave in a custom purple suit courtesy of his 90 Day Fiance bride-to-be.

Laura Jallali Had Two Wedding Looks For Her Tunisian Wedding

Laura Jallali married Aladin Jallali in a traditional Tunisian ceremony.

The first night she was dressed more for jingle bells than wedding bells. That dress was red, green, and gold. The headpiece looked like broccoli. Laura herself compared the look to Mr. T.  For the actual and final ceremony, Laura wore a more traditional white and silver dress with a crown. But this 90 Day Fiance marriage didn’t last very long despite their colorful wedding.

Avery Mills Had To Cover Her Dress On 90 Day Fiance

90 Day Fiance: The Other Way alumni Avery Mills married Omar Albakkour in Lebanon.

Avery’s mom Terri Mills dress shopped with her daughter. Avery picked a modest yet pretty dress. She needed to choose a dress that would be acceptable for a Muslim ceremony. But 90 Day Fiance fans were disappointed when the actual wedding episode aired. It seems Avery had to be covered in what some called a “brown horse blanket.”

Elizabeth Potthast Rocked Traditional Moldovan Wedding Look

On 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After, Elizabeth Potthast said I do to Andrei Castravet for a second time in Moldova.

Libby wore the traditional Russian Orthodox embroidered blouse and skirt. And managed to look quite beautiful in it. For the reception, Libby changed into a long-sleeved ivory dress that she admits was the dress of her dreams. Most brides don’t seem to mind the traditional dress if they get to wear their own look too.

Tania Maduro Bucks Tradition With a Black Dress

Of course, some brides choose to buck any tradition and choose a dress that defines their personal style.

90 Day Fiance: Tania Maduro - Syngin Colchester

One such dress was Tania Maduro’s black lace gown for her 90 Day Fiance outdoor wedding to Syngin Colchester. Tania definitely didn’t want a traditional look.

And the dress certainly had fans talking. Tania seemed to think the dress was edgy and cool. But 90 Day Fiance fans had mixed reactions about the look. The couple also got their “rings” tattooed on right at the ceremony.

Lisa Hamme’s Polka Dot Dress Later Went Up In Flames

Lisa Hamme AKA “Baby Girl Lisa,” wore a shiny white satin dress with polka dots and a poofy skirt to marry Usman “Sojaboy” Umar.

TLC: Usman Umar - Lisa Hamme

The dress was made by a Nigerian tailor. Lisa decided to go braless in the dress when she had some fit issues. Fans took to Twitter to discuss the odd-looking dress. The 90 Day Fiance marriage quickly went up in flames. As did the dress because Lisa burned it on what would have been their first anniversary.

Larissa Dos Santos Lima’s Second Hand Dress Sold by Colt on 90 Day Fiance

Larissa bought her white off the shoulder gown for her wedding to Colt Johnson at Goodwill for $150.

The marriage ended swiftly and badly after allegations of domestic violence and cheating surfaced. Colt later sold the wedding dress online for $500 advertising it as a piece of “television memorabilia”. Both Colt and Larissa appear on the current season of TLC’s 90 Day Fiance in new relationships.
