’90 Day Fiance’: Avery Mills and Omar Wedding Far From Perfect – ‘Before the 90 Days’ Fans Feel Let Down
On the recent episode of 90 Day Fiance: Before The 90 Days, Avery Mills and Omar Albakkour got married. However, their wedding day was far from perfect. Avery and Omar had to visit the Islamic court to get their marriage license before they could get married in a mosque. With time running out, the couple were able to tie the knot. Though, Avery had little participation in the wedding ceremony. Which didn’t sit well with her mother Teri Mills or the viewers watching from home. Many viewers felt let down.

90 Day Fiance: Before The 90 Days – Avery Mills Marries Foreign Fiance
Avery Mills flew all the way to Lebanon so she could marry her fiance, Omar Albakkour. Omar is originally from Syria. This means the only way for the couple to live together in America is if they apply for the K1 visa. So, Avery and her husband Omar plan on living in Syria while they wait for the approval of the K1 visa. Although, before applying for any visa they must make things official with a wedding ceremony.
As seen on 90 Day Fiance: Before The 90 Days, Omar Albakkour and Avery Mills made their relationship official. Yet, not without a few hiccups along the way. To seek the approval of their marriage, Omar and Avery must go to the Islamic court and fill out papers for their marriage license. Luckily, the couple was able to get the paperwork done all before the mosque closed.

TLC Star Not Involved in Ceremony
In the latest episode of 90 Day Fiance: Before The 90 Days, Avery Mills wasn’t participating in the wedding service at all. Which her mom Teri Mills found confusing. The ceremony seemed to be between the religious leader and Omar Albakkour. Although, Avery admitted that she is aware that this is the religion she is marrying into and must accept it.
The 90 Day Fiance: Before The 90 Days reality star may have been accepting of the ceremony, but fans of the show weren’t. Viewers expressed online that the whole wedding was a huge letdown. One fan stated that “Avery put so much hype towards this wedding and I feel duped!” Another viewer responded, “if you think you feel duped [as a viewer] how do you think Avery Mills felt when she saw Omar marrying another dude?”
90 Day Fiance Fans Not Happy With Wedding
Throughout the season, Avery Mills often brought up the fact that she and Omar have never kissed before. Which means that they would be having their first kiss once they are husband and wife. However, there was no kiss at their wedding. Omar Albakkour just gave his new wife a handshake. One fan felt let down and “deflated that we have yet to witness Omar kissing his bride for the very first time.”
To throw salt on the wound, Avery’s new husband didn’t kiss her but hugged the Sheikh that married them.
90 Day Fiance: Before The 90 Day viewers were also not happy that Avery Mills had to cover up her wedding dress. One fan said that Avery “was all dressed up in her beautiful Muslim wedding gown and then they tossed a horse blanket over her.” This must have been disappointing for the American bride. Though, she did get to show off her dress during their celebration dinner.
