TLC lost a lot of stars in 2021. There were five deaths that hit the TLC fan base hard in 2021. Let’s take a look at the top five most surprising deaths that happened this year.

1. 90 Day Fiance: Teddy, Big Ed Brown’s Dog

90 Day Fiance star Ed Brown is controversial. But there’s one thing that everyone agreed on. They loved Teddy. The TLC star shared that Teddy refused to eat after they came back to a hotel room after one of Ed’s performances.

After Teddy began to pant Ed Brown from 90 Day Fiance knew there wasn’t a lot of time left. Also, Soap Dirt shared within an hour after he began to have problems breathing, Teddy passed away. Ed Brown said goodbye to his best friend on August 17th, 2021. Teddy’s death had a lot of fans shaken up.

2. My 600-lb Life Death: Gina Krasley

Gina Krasley from My 600-lb Life died on August 1st, 2021. So, when she started her weight loss journey, she weighed in close to 700 pounds. But she was able to drop almost 300 pounds after she focused on her fitness. And after she received her weight loss surgery, she was able to focus on her health.

My 600-lb Life star Gina Krasley began to struggle with pain in her legs. Then, she became immobile and talked about how her fingers were numb. But, in a video she made before dying, she discussed how a doctor believed she may have suffered from MS. Unfortunately, she passed four days before she was going to see a neurologist.

3. 90 Day Fiance: Kendell Cook

Kendell Cook appeared on 90 Day Fiance, as he was a friend of Jay Smith and Ashley Martson. And he worked as the owner of the barbershop shown in Pennsylvania. Plus, Kendell was the person who revealed to Ashley that Jay cheated on her.  But Kendell Cook got shot to death by his co-worker, Michael Baltimore.

4. 90 Day Fiance: Jason Hitch

90 Day Fiance celeb Jason Hitch passed away on December 15th, 2021. He died after complications caused by COVID. Plus, while on Season 2 of the TLC hit show, Jason married Cassia Taraves. Then, she moved to Florida from Brazil. Jason and Cassia worked together to start a snack box subscription company. But Cassia and Jason filed for divorce in 2018.

Jason’s sister Shannon said he passed while in a Florida ICU whilesurrounded by his family.

5. 90 Day Fiance: TJ McClung

90 Day Fiance star Brandon Gibbs opened up about how his father had some health problems. But he didn’t talk much about any health concerns his friend TJ McClung struggled with.

TJ spent a little bit of time on 90 Day Fiance with Brandon Gibbs and Julia Trubkina. TJ McClung passed away on August 16th, 2021. He was only 25 years old at the time of his death.
