Many fans are wondering if there’s a possibility of season 3 to be coming to their screens. The good news is, is that season three of 1000-lb Sisters is set to air in January 2022. Currently, there are only two collections of episodes of this TLC hit show that’s live for fans to watch.

But, Chris Combs and Tammy Slaton from 1000-lb Sisters confirmed that they’re currently working on filming the third season. There’s so much excitement around the third season of this show that some fans even went as far as to petition for renewal.

While TLC hasn’t leaked any spoilers or teasers for the third season. But, the making of the newest episodes is currently underway. Also, rumors about 1000-lb Sisters getting canceled are now confirmed to be false.

1000-lb Sisters Season 3 Update 2021

In season one of 1000-lb Sisters, Tammy Slaton and Amy Slaton are introduced to one another. The sisters agree to work together to lose weight to get qualified for gastric bypass surgery. However, the sisters don’t put in equal amounts of effort to lose weight. Amy ends up losing enough to qualify for gastric bypass surgery and ends up getting the operation without Tammy.

During season two of 1000-lb Sisters, Amy Slaton learns she’s pregnant only four months after getting gastric bypass surgery. Also, Tammy Slaton learns she managed to gain all of the weight she ends up losing, back. Then, a few months in, Tammy ends up putting on 50 pounds in less than one month. Doctors tell Tammy she’s going to die. Chris Combs, the brother of Amy and Tammy, gets involved. He works with Tammy to inspire her to lose weight.

However, on 1000-lb Sisters, Chris Combs loses enough weight to get the surgery before Tammy. Tammy Slaton’s family blames her boyfriend, Jerry Sykes, for the reason she isn’t succeeding. Yet, Tammy says her weight gain is because of her struggling to recover from COVID-19.  Now, she’s completely dependent upon an oxygen tank to breathe. But, her family believes she focuses more on trying to find a relationship than trying to get healthy. Also, Amy Slaton ends up giving birth to a baby boy.
