1000-lb Sisters: Tammy Slaton Received Welfare Check
Tammy Slaton from 1000-lb Sisters wasn’t too happy with some of her fans. In a video she posted from 2018, she lectured her viewers. Previously, Tammy’s shared other videos where she makes claims that she’s being physically and mentally abused.
Also, she claims the people in her family are the ones who are mentally and physically abusing her. After making these claims public, Tammy made another video. In this second clip, the 1000-lb Sisters personality “thanks” the person who called the cops on her. She reveals the police just left before she started filming. Then, she announces the police were called for a welfare check.
Tammy Slaton says she doesn’t need anyone to call the police to see if she’s okay. Then, she reveals she’s going to get out of the house she’s currently staying in whenever she can. However, she didn’t believe that’s going to happen soon.

TLC Star Going Through Relationships
During her time on 1000-lb Sisters, Tammy Slaton was dating Jerry Sykes. While chatting with her family, Tammy says she and Jerry met on an online group. This online group was made for big and beautiful women. After finding each other on the group, the two started messaging back and forth.
However, during the Season 2 finale of 1000-lb Sisters, Tammy Slaton reveals that she and Jerry Sykes are taking a break. Now that the filming for Season 3 is underway, Tammy isn’t talking about Jerry Sykes anymore. Instead, she was posting a lot of videos of herself with a man named Phillip Redmond.
Phillip Redmond was a man who claimed to be the “king” of big and beautiful women. Since she’s made their relationship public, Tammy Slaton now says she’s single again.

Tammy Slaton of 1000-lb Sisters was also posting clips of herself smoking and taking shots of alcohol. However, it appears that she’s got another exciting update about her life. In a recent update from her that she shared on her social media, Tammy uploaded several pictures of her with a new man. She claims the name of the new “man” is Joshua Douglas.
In one pic, she’s sitting in a car while Joshua is leaning in to kiss her cheek. She captioned the image “my man” with a kissy face emoji.
Friendships are Blooming
However, after sharing this pic with her 1000-lb Sisters supporters, Tammy quickly went online to clarify. She stated that when she referred to Joshua as “my man” she meant it as in he’s her “homie”, her “friend”, her “best friend.” Then, she goes on to clarify they aren’t “dating”.
