Tammy Slaton has been laying pretty low for the past several months. However, in the past few weeks, she has become active on social media again.
The 1000-Lb Sisters star has been keeping her fans updated, as much as the reality star can admit. However, Tammy says she is not permitted to discuss any details about her weight, weight loss, or surgeries due to being under contract with TLC.
However, Tammy Slaton can reveal the recent makeover changes she has been undergoing. Earlier this week, she shared her new hairdo with her followers.
The reality star reveals sporting a new curly perm instead of her usual tight bun. But that is not the only new thing Slaton’s fans are noticing.

1000-Lb Sisters: Tammy Is Making Moves
Over the past several months, fans began expressing their concern. They felt she might grow depressed while residing in the Ohio rehab facility while awaiting her weight loss surgery.
So, Tammy’s happy uploads on social media are great news to her fans. Fans. The TV star is reportedly set to undergo bariatric surgery at the end of the month in a Lexington, Kentucky hospital.
Following the 1000-Lb Sisters star Tammy’s surgical procedure, she will return to the Ohio rehab facility, where she will continue her recovery.
Slaton’s recovery period will take between 6 and 8 weeks. If all goes according to schedule, Slaton will be back at home in Kentucky in September.
Will Slaton Return to the TLC Reality Series?
Tammy Slaton reveals she has every intention of returning to reality TV. Per Slaton, filming of the reality series is already underway.
She says, “we literally just started filming at the beginning of June. So that means next year it will come out.” However, the reality star adds that she can’t reveal any further details now.
This also means she is not saying whether or not fans can expect to see her sister Amy Slaton in the upcoming season.
1000-Lb Sisters followers know that Amy recently gave birth to her and husband Michael Halterman’s second son, Glenn Halterman. In the past, Amy has revealed she is undecided about whether or not she will decide to return to the show.
