Since returning to social media in June, Tammy Slaton has been bombarded with questions. Her followers are anxious for updates on her weight loss journey and upcoming surgery.

The first thing 1000-Lb Sisters fans noticed during her video was Tammy’s hair. Instead of her usual bun, the reality star’s shoulder-length hair is loose and curly. She shares she has just had her hair permed.

As Tammy shares an unboxing of a gift sent to her by one of her followers, the reality star appears to struggle somewhat with her breathing.

She is still sporting her trach tube, and her voice is raspy. One week earlier, Slaton responded to one follower’s comment about her weight loss surgery.

The commenter wrote, “There is an article out that says you got surgery in June. Is that right?” She answers she “cannot deny or confirm anything.”

Then, she explains why she cannot share any information now. She says she is not permitted to talk about it publicly because the network owns all rights to the information.

Family Insider Shares Details Tammy’s Journey

Slaton goes on to reveal that since she signed a contract, she can’t reveal any information about her weight loss, surgery, and such off camera. However, one insider who knows Tammy’s situation spills a few details. The Slaton informant reportedly spoke exclusively with The Sun.

The source confirms the 1000-Lb Sisters TV personality will undergo weight loss surgery in Lexington, Kentucky, at the end of the month. The original surgery was postponed due to scheduling issues.

The informant also says that Slaton remains in rehab awaiting the July surgery. Following the gastric bypass procedure, she will return to the Ohio rehab facility to recover through August. If all goes well, the TLC star will be back in her home in 6-8 weeks.

What’s Next for the 1000-Lb Sisters Series?

Slaton couldn’t provide too many details about her future. However, she reveals she is interested in writing a book. Also, she says she would like to raise awareness of body positivity while sharing the details of her journey. Slaton also reveals some 1000-Lb Sisters Season 4 news for fans.

According to Tammy, the show is a go. “We literally just started filming at the beginning of June. So that means next year it will come out.”

She reminds followers she can’t say anything more at this time. However, she wanted her fans to know they were working on the new season. As far as whether or not her sister Amy Slaton is filming in Season 4, Tammy does not say.

In the past, Amy has said she was unsure about returning to the reality show. Earlier this month, Amy gave birth to her and husband Michael Halterman’s second son, Glenn Halterman.

The couple also has an older son, Gage Halterman, who will turn 2 in November. Amy previously stated she was unsure if she would continue with the series after having her second baby.

Are you excited to hear that Season 4 is filming? Unfortunately, Tammy Slaton has a long road ahead of her. However, she continues to get much support and encouragement from her fans. Her followers say they are anxious for Season 4 to look at Tammy’s weight loss transformation.
