‘1000-lb Sisters’: Tammy Slaton Engaged?

1000-lb Sisters star Tammy Slaton went public with her engagement to her new boyfriend recently. The way she shares this news with her fans has many people scratching their heads about his intentions with Tammy.

1000-lb Sisters: Tammy Slaton Introduces First Man

Tammy Slaton from 1000-lb Sisters doesn’t talk a lot about how she wants a relationship. But, she does open up about feeling jealous of her sister, Amy Slaton. She mentions she wants to move around and be free like Amy is. Also, she says she feels upset about how happy Amy is in her life.

Yet, Tammy doesn’t admit that she wants to be in a relationship and find happiness with someone else. But, when Tammy introduces her first boyfriend into the scene, eyebrows are raised. The 1000-lb Sisters personality asks Jerry Sykes, her first boyfriend, to come to visit her. The first time they meet is while Amy Slaton is in surgery for her gastric bypass procedure.

TLC Star Makes Questionable Decisions

While they’re meeting, Jerry Sykes drives several hours to come to meet Tammy at a hotel in Georgia. After the first time seeing each other, Tammy Slaton makes a video of herself talking about the first night she spends with Jerry. She says she has an amazing time with Jerry.

Also, she goes on to talk about how it was really nice to wake up next to someone. Then, Tammy shows off all of the love marks on her neck and chin from the relations she had with Jerry the night prior. But, the bragging she does about her fun time with Jerry leaves a few fans asking if Tammy’s showing off in an attempt to take attention away from Amy’s surgery.

1000-lb Sisters: Relationship Beginnings Revealed by Tammy

When asked about where Jerry Sykes and Tammy Slaton found each other, Tammy tells her family how she met her boyfriend. The 1000-lb Sisters personality says she met Jerry while in a social media group made for bigger women. She says there are men in the group that are specifically interested in being with super plus-sized women.

After revealing this information, Tammy hints at wanting to start a family and work on making a baby with Jerry. But, he secretly tells the TLC producers he isn’t interested in living with Tammy. He says taking care of his girlfriend is too much work and he doesn’t want to stick around with her.

New Significant Other in the Picture

Tammy Slaton announces at the end of season 2 of 1000-lb Sisters that she and Jerry Sykes are taking a break from one another. While she doesn’t go into much detail about why she’s decided to stop seeing her boyfriend, she does says she’s ready to get help. Then, she announces she’s ready to lose weight and get the gastric bypass surgery to save her life.

But, during the filming of season 3 of 1000-lb Sisters, Tammy announces on her social media she’s seeing someone else. The new guy that Tammy Slaton is with refers to himself as the “king” of big and beautiful women. He talks on his social media about how he isn’t interested in being with a woman that weighs less than 300 pounds.

1000-lb Sisters: Fiancée for Tammy Slaton?

Shortly after Tammy Slaton from 1000-lb Sisters announced her relationship with the “king” of super plus-sized women, she shares many pictures of the two of them. In the first set of pics she shows off, she’s kissing her new man and shows a snapshot of the two of them holding hands. But, viewers didn’t support the pictures and ended up leaving a lot of hateful comments. So, Tammy turned off the comments on these videos.

However, the hate about her new relationship isn’t stopping her from showing off. Recently, she shows off several pics and a few videos of herself with her new man. But, she captions the clips with an engagement ring emoji, hinting that she’s engaged.
