‘Young and the Restless’ Tricking Fans with Jack & Diane Kiss
The Young and the Restless spoilers show Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) kissing Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) but are they just messing with fans? There are a few red flags in the new promo that point to this being a non-starter rather than the real deal on the soap opera.

The brand new Y&R spoilers promo teases Jack Abbott getting with Diane Jenkins. Last week, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) seemed a little concerned when his bio-other stared at his dad with lovestruck eyes. But she’s been crazy about her ex for years.
Now, we get this spoilers video below. [UPDATE – Y&R deleted the video – perhaps due to criticism…] And CBS captioned it “Will Jack & Diane take another shot at love on The Young and the Restless?” They tricked fans before with daydream scenes presented as the real deal in “preview” videos. Are they at it again?

While Y&R might think this is a way to tease fans and keep them engaged, they might want to rethink their strategy. Because fake promos like this get viewers excited (or angry) about things supposedly coming on their show. Is this another case?
Red Flags in New Y&R Trailer
In the new video, Diane Jenkins says, “my feelings for you go beyond friendship”. And Jack Abbott says, “I, too, have some feelings.” And she replies, “I didn’t want this daydream to end.” He says, “Maybe it doesn’t have to.”
Then they lean in for a kiss in the Young and the Restless preview. Calling it a preview implies it’s to come on the show. Certainly, this scene will happen on the show, but there’s one huge sign that this is not something real on the soap.

It’s that Diane said, “this daydream”. And the other sure sign that this is not an actual Y&R spoiler is that it’s so out of sync with what’s going on right now with her and Jack. They are not in any place that suggests he’s open to kissing her.
The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Diane Dreams of Jack – Not a Real Kiss
Remember that promo video where Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) swept in and told Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) she’s fascinating? And then he kissed her. That was another fake spoilers promo. CBS has since deleted it from their YouTube channel.
This has the same vibe as that other Young and the Restless video. So, if you’re either mad about this kiss — or looking forward to it — don’t get worked up. This is not happening. They are teasing fans to stir them up and get them talking. But it’s a trick.
Expect Diane Jenkins to be daydreaming over coffee, or in the office, or in the living room. And her thoughts turn to Jack Abbott. No doubt, she wants to kiss him. Diane’s still the smitten kitten where Jack’s concerned. But he’s shown no signs of being hot for her.
In fact, every time Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) warns him about Diane, he assures her that he’s got his guard up around her. So, you can bet this is not Jack’s daydream. How do you feel about Y&R toying with fans with “previews” that aren’t really happening?
