‘Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Michael and Rey Join Forces to Catch Chelsea
Young and the Restless spoilers hint Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) and Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) will work together to catch Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan). The con woman was recently found not guilty by reason of insanity. However, both men still don’t trust her on the CBS soap opera.

Y&R information shows that Rey Rosales and DA Michael Baldwin have a bad feeling about the way the Chelsea Newman case ended. So, they aren’t sure if the troubled woman really had a breakdown.
They wonder if Chelsea is faking to stay out of prison. Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) involvement also raises a red flag for Michael and also Rey. The Mustache is always in the mix as the case unfolded. Victor is known for getting what he wants on Young and the Restless.

And keeping his grandchild’s mother from incarceration falls into that category. Both Rey and Michael have felt the wrath of Victor. So, they think there is more to the story when you add the Newman patriarch into the mix with Chelsea’s story on Y&R.
So, Michael Baldwin cooperates with Rey Rosales to continue the investigation into Chelsea Newman’s actions. That means Chelsea has to keep up the crazy act on Young and the Restless. With Melissa leaving soon for maternity leave, it seems she’ll go out with a bang.

Chelsea Newman sits in a psych ward as the world moves forward without her. She is not happy with her current situation. But Chelsea agreed to Victor’s plan, so she is stuck. However, Chelsea shouldn’t get too comfortable.
It seems the truth could still come out on Young and the Restless. News hints that Chelsea still has something up her sleeve to make Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) pay. She blames them for ruining her life.

Will Chelsea put a plan in motion before the GCPD detective and DA learn she is faking her breakdown on Young and the Restless? While Rey is ready to dig in with Michael’s help, she might have an unlikely ally.

Y&R updates show that the pressure has been on for Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) to confess. Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart) is afraid that Chelsea may turn on her. He thinks it would be better for Chloe to get ahead of the story before the cops come looking for her.
Rey has a hard time believing Chelsea acted alone – as does Michael Baldwin. If Chloe admits her role in poisoning Rey Rosales, everything could change for Chelsea Newman. If the two men pressure Chloe, will she break, wonder Young and the Restless spoilers.

Knowing Chelsea’s plan included Chloe’s help changes everything. A mentally ill woman would be unlikely to premeditate such an elaborate plot. That takes planning and forethought – and a clear mind on Y&R.
If Chloe decides to confess, the outcome is unclear on Young and the Restless. This information would give Rey Rosales what he needs to arrest Chelsea Newman. And then Michael Baldwin can prosecute her and set aside the insanity ruling.
