Young and the Restless News for May 2-6: Sharon Newman Spends Quality Time with Nick Newman
Sharon Newman puts on a brave face for her family, but inside she is broken. The unexpected death of her husband has left her shattered. But she has her family and friends by her side for support and comfort. Sharon’s biggest advocate is her ex-husband.
Nick Newman has been there for Sharon from the moment he learned of Rey Rosales’ (Jordi Vilasuso) death. Nick insisted on breaking the horrible news to Sharon. As she collapsed in Nick’s arms, their special connection was obvious.
As the initial shock wears off, Nick stays by Sharon’s side. Nick Newman has dropped everything else in his life to be there for Sharon. It seems the powers that be are setting the foundation for what could be a long awaiting “Shick” reunion on Young and the Restless.
Fans of the couple have hoped that Nick and Sharon would get back together ever since Nick Newman’s infidelity derailed their wedding. Nick has grown and changed since that fateful day. So, this could be the start of something special.
Now that both are single, this tragedy could bring them closer than ever. Viewers may get what they want as Nick Newman and Sharon’s bond grows in the coming days.

Chelsea can’t hide her jealousy as the couple comes over to say hello. Chelsea bites her ex’s head off in what was a benign conversation. Chloe is disturbed by what she sees and calls her bestie out. Chelsea denies that she still has feelings for Adam.
However, Sally and Adam are getting serious. Since Chelsea loves a challenge, she could decide to make a play for Adam. He has turned her down repeatedly.
But she may have something up her sleeve. Watch as Chloe tries to comfort her friend and make sure she doesn’t give in to any crazy ideas.

Adam did everything that was asked of him in Victoria Newman’s (Amelia Heinle) scheme to get rid of Ashland Locke (Robert Newman). But her plan fell flat. So Adam came up with his own. His actions saved Newman Media and the family’s legacy.
But he is once again left out in the cold. Victoria has taken back the CEO position and pushed Adam aside. Now Adam wondered if he would always be the black sheep in the family. No matter how many times he proves his loyalty, he comes in as second best.
