‘Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Did Stitch Kidnap Mariah to Play Hero for Abby?
Young and the Restless spoilers wonder if Ben Rayburn (Sean Carrigan) kidnapped Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) so he could be a hero by “saving” her. It’s officially confirmed in the latest weekly promo that Mariah is being held against her will.
All signs point to Stitch being her captor but the question is why. He recently offered to help Abby find her missing surrogate. Is he behind her disappearance so he can rescue the redhead on the CBS soap opera – or this more nefarious?
Young and the Restless Spoilers: Mariah Copeland Trapped – Does Stitch Have Her?
The current promo for next week (see below) on Y&R shows Mariah Copeland banging against a door. She begs to be released from the room she is locked into. Finally, her family and loved ones are just beginning to suspect she may be missing and in danger. But is it Ben Rayburn who stashed her in the room on Young and the Restless?
Recently, Mariah sent vague texts to Abby and Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks). But was Stitch sending them from her phone? These short messages offer lame excuses for her ongoing absence from town. First, it was Mariah Copeland’s unexpected business trip. Then, she said she needed time to herself. But no one has spoken with her. And she doesn’t seem to know who has her on Young and the Restless.

Young and the Restless spoilers indicate that all those who love Mariah worry. Even Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) and Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) express doubts that she’s okay. Then Abby’s nightmare convinced her something is off. Tessa writes a text asking her to send a sign if she faces trouble. So, Mariah Copeland will likely give a clue that she is in danger. But does Ben Rayburn have her?
Did Ben Rayburn Take Mariah Captive on Y&R?
Now, Young and the Restless viewers know Mariah Copeland is indeed in some sort of peril. The question remains, who kidnapped her? There has been a lot of speculation about the culprit. However, everything points to Stitch. Ben Rayburn’s behaved strangely since he returned to town. All along, Ben has been showing up to Abby’s house acting concerned.
Also, Ben Rayburn lurked around the Chancellor estate peering into windows on Young and the Restless. First, he peeped at Abby – and then at Mariah Copeland. Also, it seems Stitch may be obsessed with the baby Abby’s expecting that Mariah carries. Plus, Stitch may be constantly around the mansion to keep tabs on what they know about Mariah’s disappearance – even offering to “help”.
Last week, Abby even spent time helping him search for a place to live. As everyone begins to grow concerned, Ben’s offer to look for Mariah might be a false flag – if he knows where she is. Since Abby helped him find an apartment, that’s not the basement at his new place. But Young and the Restless recaps recall that Ben lived in town before – and knows the town pretty well. So, he might have another place.
Young and the Restless Spoilers: Stitch Rayburn “Saves” Mariah – Seen as Abby’s Hero?
Stitch Rayburn still seems smitten with Abby. She and Ben recently reminisced about their courtship and marriage. Now, Ben Rayburn’s back in town to stay as he took a job at GC Memorial. With no sign of her hubby Chance in sight, perhaps Ben will do whatever it takes to get into her good graces. Maybe Stitch thinks “saving” her surrogate Mariah would convince Abby to reconcile with him.
Young and the Restless spoilers speculate that Ben kidnapped Mariah Copeland. If so, then Stitch could easily “find” her and bring her home. Then, everyone would laud Ben Rayburn as a hero for rescuing the surrogate. Even the surrogate herself would feel grateful. So, what was a boring storyline could ramp up the excitement as the search and rescue for Mariah turns into something much twistier.
It sure feels like Ben Rayburn’s the culprit in Mariah Copeland’s kidnapping. All signs point to it. But, the real question if Stitch did it is why – and what he hopes to accomplish. Does he want to keep her until she delivers the baby? Or is he hoping to rescue her and play the hero? Watch for more clues next week on Y&R with more on Ben, Mariah, and the other players involved.
