Coming up on Young and the Restless, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) breaks his promise to Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope). Recently, Nick professed his love and commitment to her. He said he would always be there for her.

Now, their relationship is about to be tested because Nick’s ex-wife Sharon Newman (Sharon Case), is facing a crisis. Cameron Kirsten (Linden Ashby) is out of prison and getting comfortable in Genoa City.

Cameron terrorized Sharon back in the day. Then, she thought she killed him and tossed him in a dumpster. So, he wants revenge. Plus, he recently approached her daughter, Faith Newman (Reylynn Caster), on Young and the Restless.

Soon, Nick rushes to Sharon’s rescue right when Sally needs him the most. Of course, he’ll want to protect their daughter, Faith. But he chooses his ex over his pregnant girlfriend.

So, she might finally start to see that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) is right about his brother. He’ll always love Sharon. Furthermore, Nick’s actions pave the way for Adam to show up for Sally and prove she can always count on him.

Adam Newman Gets His Chance to Fight for His Love on Y&R

This week, on Young and the Restless, Adam gets an opportunity to tell Sally he still loves her when Nick flakes out on her while he’s protecting Sharon.

Of course, he doesn’t want anything to happen to Sharon or Faith. But he’s proving Adam’s point when he says that Sharon will always come first. So when Nick drops the ball, Adam steps up.

He takes advantage of the situation and pledges his love for Sally once again. And this time, she might see how much he truly loves her and also that she cannot count on that.

So she may decide to give him another chance and break things off with Nick. Then he would be free to reconcile with Sharon.

Couple Swap Ahead on Young and the Restless

Coming up on Y&R, there could be some breakups and couple swaps ahead. If Sally gives Nick the boot and goes back to Adam, he may pursue Sharon. Currently, she’s been getting closer to Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd).

However, this nightmare with Cameron might bring her and Nick closer together. They have a long history together, and it would be easy to fall into old habits. So Cameron’s return might change all of their lives forever.
