‘Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Abby Freaks Over Tucker McCall Return – Puts Marriage at Risk?
Young and the Restless spoilers confirm Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) flips when she sees Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) is back in town. They have a very messy history and he’ll plop himself right back into her mother’s life. Could this added tension wreck her already precarious marriage on the CBS soap?
Abby Newman Hates Tucker McCall on The Young and the Restless
Y&R spoilers for this week see Tucker McCall crashing the vow renewal at the Abbott estate in grand style. He blows in via helicopter and ignites a firestorm. After Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters), he’s the most disliked guy in town.
But The Young and the Restless spoilers also tell us that Abby Newman doesn’t see him until late in the week. And his ex-wife, Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) is out of town. Already, he name-dropped Ashley to Diane. So, it’s clear the cad is back (at least in part) for her.
You may recall that Abby despises her former stepfather. Plus, there’s that messy piece of history where she ran him over with her car while driving drunk. She hates him and even got drunk and ripped down the decor for her mom’s wedding to Tucker.
Y&R Spoilers: Tucker Back to Woo Ashley Abbott
Back in the day on Young and the Restless, Abby Newman’s antics delayed the wedding but didn’t stop them from getting hitched. She’d plotted to expose his one-night stand with Diane, but then her almost killing him with her car pushed all that aside.
The Abbott party girl was sent to rehab and Ashley married Tucker McCall while he was in his hospital bed after coming out of a coma. Plus, he refused to press charges for his stepdaughter plowing into him with her car while drunk on Y&R.
His shady business deals (and occasional cheating) ruined their marriage, and she divorced him. But he later told his mom, Katherine Chancellor (Jeanne Cooper) that Ashley was the only woman for him. Now, he’s returned to Genoa City to win her back (and some other shady stuff, it seems).
Longtime Young and the Restless viewers know that Ashley’s relationship with Tucker estranged her briefly from Abby. She knew the guy wasn’t good enough for her mother. So, it’ll be the Thursday (US) episode when she runs into her former stepdad.
Abby’s Tantrum Rocks Marriage to Chance on Young and the Restless?
No doubt, it’ll drop Abby’s jaw that Tucker’s back. And she won’t want him anywhere near her mom, predict Y&R spoilers. But her hatred never stopped Tucker McCall before. So, he’ll woo Ashley and try to convince her he’s really changed this time.
And remember, on Y&R, that Abby’s marriage to Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) is rocky right now. He’s been spending time away from her and moping. So, it’s not the best time on The Young and the Restless for his wife to start acting out — he won’t appreciate it.
Plus, Tucker and Chance are family — although not by blood. And with C-W about to go public, this all will get messy. If Abby starts hating on Chance’s uncle, this might get messier. Watch later this week to see Abby Newman lose it when she sees Tucker McCall’s back in Genoa City.
